I had a pizza tortilla for dinner and this for dessert. Testing my stomach and I’m afraid it may not go over well even though it is delicious! I gave my daughter half because I just couldn’t take it all. I just creamed together Butter, cream cheese, whipped cream, pyure, caramel and some Lily’s choc chips. I didn’t measure out anything just a bit of each. #thm#trimhealthymama#thmS#thmdessert
Been a while since I’ve checked in! Finally got some good meal prep done this weekend. I made 8 crockpot freezer meals, plus these cranberry orange oat muffins and a huge batch of cabbage roll soup. 😋 I revamped my goals for the end of the year, and I’m ready to move forward! #mealprep#tiumealprep#tiumom#tiuteam#TIU21#trimhealthymama#THM
Day 31 & 32. Saturday morning my daughter & I picknicked while golfcarting on a chilly day to watch my son run. We brought along our hot chocolate (trimmy for me). She had a bagel & I had pumpkin BAM cake. THM is pretty easy to weave into real life; yet, why do I struggle to make good choices. 😣 both mornings I started on plan. Even made an on plan lunch, but by afternoon I was eating other things. This is day 3 of caving in the afternoon. So this week I’m praying for a 100% compliance. Can I do it? May God grant it so.
I am in love with the new single-serving size of Alkalime.
I like to take this at night! Mix it in cold water and it fizzes and tastes like lemony lime soda.
If your pH levels become too acidic then you'll have digestive issues and if it is too low (antacids cause this) then you can't digest your food... So you need balance!
This helps promote a balanced pH level 😉 #unicornoils
Happy Sunday y'all! Here's what I ate today! 1. Breakfast- two boiled eggs and a trimmy and just a little off plan ketchup 2. Lunch- a big salad with lots of stuff on it, including some croutons made from blender bread 3. Snack- pistachios 4. Dinner- make ahead meatball sandwich on sprouted bread-a crossover, but tummy. 5. Snack- halo top. Also ggms, stevia sweetened tea, and water #trimhealthymama#thm#myweightlossjourney#accountability#whatiatetoday#onplan
Super Moist Trimtastic Lemon Cake, THT, 392
My daughter was in the kitchen when I made this and her face was priceless. "Mom! What are you doing?!" .
I smiled and said a sweetly as I could, "Baking cake, dearie." .
I love cakes with veggies. .
I don't know if her knowledge tainted her opinion, but this wasn't her favorite. (I think she's just not super fond of lemon). But my son? He seriously ate half the pan before I realized it. When I sent him to bed without another piece, he was pretty pouty. .
This is an 8 for simplicity. A bit of blending required. .
It's super moist, as promised, and has a pleasant lemon bite. The creamy frosting is excellent. 8 points for flavor. .
Conclusion: If you love a lemon cake, definitely try this. I'll keep it in mind if I need to use up lemons, but there are other flavor cakes I like better. (of course, my son may request this for his birthday! 😊) #trimhealthymama#thm#trimhealthytable
Dinner was an oldie but goodie: Sweetie on Steroids! Don't snub this recipe because of the seemingly strange flavor combinations; it is delicious! Even my three year old asked for seconds. I use tuna for the protein. 🐟It's one of my favorite E meals!
Don't forget to go preorder your calendar from @brianamthomas tonight!!! #thm#trimhealthymama#emeal#dinner#sweetpotato#thmfoodie#thmsupport
Dinner was leftover Lazy Lasagna and dessert was a Frosted Cinnamon Muffin (in a mug) with a little twist. I added pumpkin and pumpkin spice. And I had pumpkin pie coffee. Why not? 😜 #pumpkinspiceeverything#trimhealthymama#thm
So this was my "not on my list" splurge at the grocery store Friday. I loooove pistachio!! You know that green fluff salad your Aunt Nelda brings to get togethers that has cottage cheese and pineapple and nuts and pistachio pudding mix??? It's like one of my all time favorite desserts!
I tried to mimic that for my snack today and mixed together cottage cheese, pistachio extract, coconut extract, almonds, a few pineapple chunks and sweetener.
It was pretty tasty and I could only eat about half of it, so I have more for tomorrow! 🤗
It was reeeaally tempting to add green food coloring, but I knew that wasn't a healthy choice. 💚
What would YOU make with pistachio extract?? I'm thinking a shake would be delicious, but not sure what to add, besides spinach of course!
Hey y'all, been lazy about posting again 😬
1: Pumpkin pancakes w/ sugar free syrup and a trimmy (S)
2: Leftover chicken and sweet potato soup (E)
3: Salsa verde chicken over brown and cauli rice (E)
4: Strawberries w/ peanut butter (S)
What do you miss most when you are eating on plan? For me it is homemade toast with lots of butter and peanut butter. I've made a commitment with my daughter Rachael to stick to #trimhealthymama with no cheating for the next month. That's beginning tomorrow up until Thanksgiving day. Which means I get to enjoy one last cheat tonight before I begin. Isn't that the way it works? 😉 Feel free to join us if you need the motivation! Here's to a healthy month!
Guys. I ate the toppings off a piece of pizza, skipped the crust, and lived to tell about it!🙌 Haha. Also had a ranch salad and that big cookie I made earlier. (It was at a church get together). P.S. I LOVE PUSHEEN. 🐈
#lowcarbmuffins for breakfast tomorrow 😊I found this pumpkin recipe on the Internet. The muffins are made with almond flour and coconut flour. The sweetener called for was erythriol, but I used the #thm Gentle Sweet.
Turkey sausage, Parmesan, nutmeg, spinach and mushroom egg bake for breakfast this week. Not pictured for lunch: hoisin shredded chicken and roasted broccoli and snacks: buffalo chicken dip with celery and premier protein shakes. I'm halfway through the @trimhealthymama book and it all makes sense. There was a page where I read it and was like MIKE, READ THIS SHIT. The logic is unreal. And the way they explain how eating certain things (sugar mixed with carbs) effects your body spoke to me. I'm going to give this a go as a lifestyle change. I'd really like to not only lose weight, but get my hormones and adrenals in check, and work on healing my insulin resistance that I have from PCOS. I highly recommend the book from an eating standpoint.
Dinner! Leftover chicken bacon rice casserole (trim healthy table pg.140). This was a huge hit with my family. The only person who was unsure was my 4 year old daughter who is pretty picky. She did eat the turkey bacon and the cheese off the top though. 🤦🏼♀️😂
My bestie has pulled me on board to try out this new way of eating. It's a lot of Keto with more frequent carb ups that remind me of the carb ups lined out in "The Keto Diet" book. I'm super excited for something different. I think this might just be the perfect way to find the balance I'm looking for in a long term lifestyle. I'll still share new things as I come across them and I'll be sure to label if they're Keto (THM-S) or a carb up (THM-E). Wish me luck! #imsoexcited#ithinkicandothis#thm
It’s been awhile since I’ve popped in here, so HI!! Wanted a quick lunch so I made the 90 second bread and had egg & cheese on it. http://insidekellyskitchen.com/recipe/90-second-almond-bread #thm#trimhealthymama THM:S
