““We don't look back. It helps no one and nothing to look back.” ☄ .
I feel like such a bad fan of this series that it has taken me this long to finish this book. Never the less, I digress. I was so nervous for this book when I first read that it would be following Chaol’s story line- Mostly because I cannot stand how whiney characters get when they have a major life change, like losing the ability to walk. Chaol was already starting to annoy me in Queen of Shadows, so the thought of an entire book dedicated to him was a bit much for me. BUT, I really did like it.🎢 .
I loved that they brought Yerene back, and connected her to the rest of the group. She was probably my favorite character in this one. I loved that Nesryn found what she was really meant to do, and is finally happy. I was hoping a little that somehow Chaol would be the one to get Aelin, so I can stop being so concerned for her, BUT THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN! Nope, instead I have more anxiety than I did before. Thanks for that, Sarah. Thanks. -.- Overall, I would say that this is a solid 4.5 stars for me (if they ever come up with half star increments). 🔥
Review of Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas: 3/5 🌟
Unpopular opinion time 😕
This book took me forever to finish (nearly 2 months). I kept setting it aside to read other books, which usually doesn’t happen with fantasy novels for me. I felt like I could tell at which point in the writing process (at about page 150) Maas decided she wanted to turn this into a novel instead of a novella as originally planned. And honestly? I think this novel was way too long. Some things happened in this installment that I feel are important to the overall story, but didn’t necessitate an almost 700 page novel. Chaol has always been one of my favorites but I got bored quickly with him as a character and his and Yrene’s instalove in this one. I will definitely finish the series but can’t see myself rereading this one as I’ve done with the others. (Also, spine view because I don’t really like the cover 🤦🏽♀️) Anybody else read this one?
Throne of Glass
I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. It starts off slightly slow but really picks up. My only gripe about the book though is that it's very obvious who I believe she's gonna end up with later in the series. *Cough cough* Dorian.
Celaena and Chaol should be together in my opinion. But I don't absolutely hate the love triangle. I just hope it doesn't last through the whole series. But I'd recommend this book to any fantasy or YA fan.
I'm so behind on my word count for NaNoWriMo, but I have the entire week off from work for Thanksgiving break, so I WILL take advantage of this! Right now I'm at the library in a private study room, taking a break from writing. ☺

I have too many bookmarks, says someone who has more in the mail... I’ve always had a fondness for bookmarks, had a very strong collection as a kid which I’m certain are in the box somewhere. #bookstagram certainly perpetuates the love and desire to buy more - especially when there are so many amazing artists, designers and makers out there!
One of my favourite discoveries this year as been @heyatlascreative. Bright, colourful photography, perfectly poignant and inspiring book quotes, great quality card stock and free international shipping (always a winner!)
I’ve been using these bookmarks in rotation for the last 6 months, despite buying plenty of others I just can’t seem to not want to use these ones! You are bound to find something from a book you love in this collection - plus there are matching stickers, buttons, notebooks, beanies and now a 2018 desk calendar which I’m so looking forward to have arrive on my doorstep
Favourite pair of siblings: #novinbooks17 - right now, the Weasley siblings! I have just finished Order of the Phoenix as an audiobook, Fred & George as we know get up to a lot of mischief in that book
Characters you’d invite to dinner: #allthebooksnov - Dumbledore, Kell from ADSOM, Aragorn, Feyre, Jane Eyre, and, oh I don’t know, I’d want people who have had unique life experiences
Sidekicks and secondary characters: #dreambunnybookishnovember - The Fellowship, the Inner Circle, the Court of Terrasan, the population of Hogwarts school, ensemble casts are all the rage at the moment, everyone needs their squad to get through!
I love both of these sooo much. I’m sorry if you guys haven’t read this series (a court of thorns and roses) but if you haven’t you should lol. If this doesn’t get that many likes I’ll probably delete it though. Also if you know the artists can you please tag them or let me know!? #qotd Rhysand or Tamlin? #aotd Rhysand!!!!!
I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS FAN ART BY @morgana0anagrom , IT’S SO FREAKING GORGEOUS, OHMYGOD I WANT TO HANG THIS UP IN MY ROOM AND IN ALL THE OTHER ROOMS INCLUDING YOUR ROOM THAT YOU’RE STANDING IN
School being out means a bit of chaos but currently have the big 3 playing with play doh and the baby is rolling around content. This small success in a mom’s world means mom can take a breather so into the ToG world I go! How is everyone’s Tuesday?
Don’t forget to tag your friends or share any of my posts! As soon as I get 200 followers I will be doing another giveaway!

Haha I forgot there's a photobomber haha oh well. But I'm tired and stressed after this morning... Also I've always wanted to do a picture like this while riding the train haha. So after a SUPER stressful and crazy morning, it's nice to relax on the train and on my way to a church volunteer service mission. I do this every Tuesday afternoon from 1-5 and a short meeting called Prayer meeting at 1230 so I'm going to have to be late for that today which sucks. But I was busy and had to help a neighbor with her 90 year old mom who has partial dementia. And Queen of Shadows is driving game insane! I'm on I believe chapter 65 out of 88? And gah!!! I keep getting close to the end and apparently the cliffhanger is the most intense cliffhanger out of the Throne of Glass series. 😨🙊🙈 so kinda dreading that now..... So I hope you've had a better smooth morning. Don't you just hate crazy mornings where it's like one thug after another that goes wrong and all at once you're rushing to get ready for wherever you're going? Haha yeah.... It was one of those. So hopefully the day goes better now! Have a great day bookworms!! .
Don't forget to go check out my challenge #beautyandthebeastenchantedchristmasbookchallenge for next month I'm cohosting with two great bookstagrammers! It was so much fun to make and it's my first challenge too! So I'm excited to do it and find another challenge or two so I can get even more in the Christmas spirit! (Oh great..... Now the train is taking a bit longer to get to salt lake ugh! At least I have my audiobook of Queen of shadows though 😍😂 joys of being s reader right? 😉 #bookstagram#bookworm#bookwormproblems#books#book#booknerd#bookaholic#reading#read#queenofshadows#sarahjmaas#throneofglass#crazymorning#stressfulmorning#ugh
I finished Queen of Shadows & The Assassin's Blade over my vacation and I just love this series so much. 😭 Assassin's Blade was definitely my favorite of the series so far but Queen of Shadows is a close second. I'm already so sad that I only have a couple books left of it. 😭 I never want it to end!!! We both are huge ToG fans over here. My fave boy is hands down Sam and Angeline loves Rowan & Chaol. 🙋🏼🙋🏻

Throne of Glass 3 ~ Das Buch im Schwarzlicht😁
Was sagt ihr dazu? Findet ihr es gut, so viele verschiedene Sichtweisen mitzubekommen oder wollt ihr nur wissen, was die Hauptperson macht? .
I love audiobooks and I usually have one always on the go. Here are some of my all-time favourites:
• Peter Pan - Samuel West has the most beautiful voice
• Firesong - This story is beautiful and moving and poignant
• Strange The Dreamer - Laini Taylor's exquisite writing is even better spoken.
• Six of Crows - The voice actors are fantastic and the story is incredible.
• Harry Potter - Stephen Fry brings the world and characters to life.
• Throne of Glass - SjM's fairly dense writing is much more palatable in audiobook form.
• Just William short stories - These hilarious stories are even better when read by Martin Jarvis
