Went out to Yo Sushi! tonight 😻 I had the tofu katsu curry, multiple cucumber makis and a vegetable yakisoba (not pictured but they're noodles)! I also wanted some gyozas (dumpling type things) but they had sold out 😅 memories over macros 💕

Looks rather questionable, but if your vegetarian or vegan I highly recommend the Tofu Katsu Curry At Yo Sushi. I'm rather addicted, so got the sumo version 😐 bit pricey but worth the £9 😂

Unfortunately the canteen at work has upped its prices... But, I nabbed some tofu katsu curry which wasn't too pricey (served with side of salad) + some rice w/cooked veg that I made at home earlier this week! ✌🏻meal prep FTW #veganseatplenty
#TofuKatsuCurry 😋 over brown rice... according to my son, this is the best meal he ever ate 😆🤣😄 The tofu was marinated in a little soy sauce, garlic, and onion. Then battered and air-fried. No oil or eggs needed.
The curry has red potatoes and carrots. I also added ground apple to add sweetness without adding sugar.
Batter recipe: (covers a block of tofu)
1/2 C and 2 TBS All Purpose Flour
1/4 C cornstarch
1/4 tsp baking powder
Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
3/4 and 1 TBS water (Add a few TBS more to resemble a thick pancake batter...if needed)
About 2 cups panko (optional: add salt and pepper to the panko) in a separate container.
Slice tofu and dip into Batter. Then place into panko. Make sure panko covers the tofu and is pressed against tofu. Bake in the air-fryer (or oven) for 15-20 min at 400°F

First trip to a @yosushi today, loved it! Food you can eat with your hands, and food which goes past on a conveyor belt! As @rebecca.renton said, what's not to love! There was much more food than this, but I couldn't hang around before I took the pic 😀🍥 🇯🇵

Tofu katsu at @yosushi - just a heads up if you go 'sumo' it doesn't make it into an adult's full size portion as planned, it makes it into about three adults' size portion 😱 needless to say I am stuffed. Nice though and vegan of course 🌱❤️
the third time I've been to yo sushi in 10 days 😅😅 luckily I haven't paid for any of it?? But the yo sushi at my home town does tofu katsu curry (my uni town doesn't) so I had to right??? Also not too bad for 12g protein, especially for a small bowl! Well needed after a killer upper body day!
