I really need to post this because too often I'm confronted by people who ask me this ignorant ass question. When it comes down to it, I support people who experience discrimination, people who are marginalized....
lgbtq, minorities, disabled, the youth/elderly, women, Muslims, etc. Because at the end of the day, I know how it feels to be discriminated against. So why on earth would I purposely not support gay people?!?! Pain is pain. I'm aware being a person of color that minorities are still struggling to be seen as equal. I'm upset about that. And I'm also aware that the lgbtq community is making its way to being more and more equal in the eyes of this society we live in. I'll be honest, people of color are not even at the level of acceptance that gay people are at. But you know what, that's not going to stop me from supporting them. Why the fuck should it? I'm glad there's positive changes happening. There's no room in my heart to judge or to hate another group. We are all human beings. It's only right to speak on this matter and stand up for the lgbtq community whenever a prejudice person says something negative about them. Just like I would hope someone would speak on my behalf whenever someone is speaking negatively about minorities or about women. Even if they are not a woman or a minority. We should all look out for each other. At least that's how I see it in my eyes.

Our #wcw goes to one of our inspirational teen leaders, Camille. Last night she spoke eloquently and from the heart about what it means to be part of the GWM family at an @eileenfisherny #RealPower event. Camille, we love having your bright smile, kind heart, and thoughtful leadership at GWM! Keep shining! 💪🏾❤✨
