I know everyones probably been wondering where the fundraising went for my running leg. My old prosthetic used my hip, instead of my glutes so I lost alot of muscle. My prosthetist wanted to wait until I could learn to run on my everyday leg.
Ive got the technique down pact using my @ottobock_australia X3 and my leg muscle strength has dramtically increased. We were going to wait until I returned to Perth in April but given my recent dive into the deep end with @triaustralia. Ive finally been given approval to get my running leg made!
Time to step up the running training, if im going to make the @ausparalympics team for 2020!

"You don't need sight to have vision." Honored to have had the opportunity to guide the wicked fast @magisanof during camp #NoSightNoLimits (watch out, Tokyo). The camp, lead by Paralympic hopeful Amy Dixon, is a week long triathlon training camp for the visually impaired held at the Olympic training site in Chula Vista that concluded with a mock race, pictured here.
First picture is Francesco and Zack rocketing through the start of lap two on the bike course. Second picture is a group shot of camp athletes, guides, and coaches. Third picture is B and Zack awkwardly sharing the same parka staying warm in the unusually cold San Diego weather.
