I'm thankful for the highs and most importantly the lows. The lows taught me that I'm human. That it's okay not to be perfect all the time. It taught me to be humble and how to move better and to not compete with anybody. The lows taught me that when people leave you in the dark to not let your emotions get in the way of their reasons why to do so, but instead control how you feel and turn your pain into gains. The lows taught me that I had to work harder and smarter. It taught me to be appreciative of what remained and who remained. I lost so many ppl this year but I gained so many ppl as well that changed my life tremendously. Everything happens for a reason. I'm forever thankful. I never took a loss, because even in defeat, I gained wisdom. I'm thankful for everyone who supports me. I must have quit like 10 times this year lol but the comments, the messages and the support keeps me striving for greatness. I appreciate y'all and those who read all of this. Y'all real ones 💯

I've been sick for so many days now but I'm also almost done writing this year's set of Christmas cards for friends I've met traveling and for friends that have moved away. With every envelope I seal, a small part of me hopes that I don't cause a worldwide flu outbreak.
Also, I'm a bit tired of posting mountains all the time since that's only a fraction of what I see traveling. Just like every other North American dork, I can't resist a good castle. Here's a photo from a palace in Sintra, Portugal - one of my absolute favourites.
