My bud and awesome photog @stanflan posted some good bw today and I wanted to steal the idea. It may not show but I’m really drawn to moody, dark, and uncommon images. It’s dumb but we hold the things back we care about from fear of how they will be received. I think it’s less about the likes and more about being vulnerable with what makes us particular.
Sunlight bright upon my pillow lighter than an eider down. Will she let the weeping willow wind his branches round. Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams every night I turn the light out. Waiting for the velvet bride, will the scaly armadillo. Find me where I'm hiding. Will the misty master break me, will the key unlock my mind, will the following footsteps catch me
Am I really dying
It might be called the rice bowl of Vietnam, but the Mekong Delta is a heck of a lot more than that with fresh produce and hospitality flooding every corner of the picturesque area. We feasted on fresh fruit from the floating and land markets, took in the beautiful sights and, yes, were invited over to drink with a quartet of mechanics who spotted us on the street. Turns out enough beer can overcome any language barrier. 😂
If you're headed to the Mekong (and you should be if you're in Vietnam), check out @nguyenshack for the chillest place to stay on the river. We loved it so much, our 1 night stay turned into 4. 🙈
Where have you been that's kept you around longer than planned?
Incredible views along the Hooker Valley track which ends at a glacier lake.

I’ve been pretty obsessed with sunrises and sunsets lately.
In between those sunsets and sunrises, I’ve been catching up on a couple travel blogs from months ago! Check it out if you’re interested in where I’ve been! 🙏✈️🌎❤️
Happy Aloha Friday!
As the temperature drops in Toronto, we are definitely longing for the warmer weather in Honolulu. We could definitely go to Hanauma Bay and snorkel the day away. Do you have a place that is a favourite of yours to snorkel? We would love to hear about it!
Have a wonderful weekend! 10 days till Christmas 😲
SO BLOODY CONTENT WITH LIFE RIGHT NOW (to say the least). Looking back on 2017 it has certainly been a whirlwind and the best year of my life! I decided at the start of the year I wanted to take every opportunity as they came. I got to work with the amazing team at @kiltclothing, take part in the epic @RoadyNZ North Island ‘Up the Guts’ tour and decided ‘screw it’ and moved by my little lonesome to a new country to progress my career in a brand spanking new hospital on the Sunshine Coast of Australia! Had so many wicked times with mates and the fam bam and made some epic new friends amongst my journeys. From skydiving a couple of times to snow boarding, mountain climbing and rock climbing, white water rafting, to moments standing in so many stunning national parks in awe of their beauty, sitting and dancing around bonfires on the beach, kayaking watching the sunset over Auckland city, nights around the table playing cards with a few bevy’s, and backyard cricket and Kubb with the crew, music blearing. These moments are what life’s about. LIVIN’, LEARNIN’ & LOVIN’. I have seen some freakin’ incredible sights and had plenty of banter and laughs along the way. So I’m writing this in the blazin’ hot sun from our own private rooftop which feels like a tropical oasis. If you had told me at the start of the year I would be here I wouldn’t have believed you. I’m totally stoked with how this year panned out, grateful for the people I have in my life and so happy that I decided to ‘risk in for the biscuit’. It’s all about attitude and perspective. My ambition is my weaponry and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2018! I already have some plans up my sleeve... in for a freakin’ goodie 💥💥💥 (Soz for the novel - I’m a talker 🤷🏼♀️💁🏼♀️)
