🔟 #BEYOUtifulU : TOXIC HABITS -
HABIT: A tendency or regular practice, especially that’s hard to give up. (An addiction, an attachment, of sorts). I like refers to habits as LIFE PATTERNS because it’s throughout our lives that we acquire these ways of survival. Where once these habits served us, big or small (even if in an ultimately negative way), at the moment the habit was born there was a reason for it that helped you get by just another day. Thing is, we are ever changing constantly evolving creatures & old habits become just that, OLD. Habits are hard to let go of because we identify w/ them. Saying goodbye to something that saw you through is always hard but when it doesn’t serve you anymore, it’s gots ta go! So we replace it w/ a shiner, healthier, version of what was. This way, we fill the desire but with a wiser plan of attack. The replacement method helps us to RETRAIN OUR BRAIN (reprogram & reboot) toxic behaviors into more constructive ones without going haywire. Tricking the brain into seeing Cheetos while actually feeding it dehydrated veggie chips 😜. For this challenge I recommend journaling & captioning before filming your visual post. ⚫️Free writing will assist you in identifying your toxic habit(s). How, when & why did you acquire them. Why is it time to replace them? What will replace your old toxic habit(s)? 🔴Write your eulogy. Say 🤧👋 to your old ways. 🔵Perform a funeral for your toxic habits & read your eulogy. It’s time to say thank you & see ya as they no longer serve you. Get creative & have patience w/ yourself & the process. This is NOT about winning an Oscar or a competition (STOP COMPARING YOURSELVES), this is about PROCESS & SELF AWARENESS. Self work = Self Love. Self Love = peace of mind. Massive props to those that have chosen to remain on our beyoutiful island after the first week. I salute you. Doing this work is not easy but man oh man, is it life game changer.

🔟TOXIC HABITS (find out your toxic habit and make a funeral for them and call for the new things instead)
New Lyrics for “Bye Bye Love”
Bye bye judgement
Bye bye anxiousness
I think im gonna love
Bye bye battlefields
Bye bye fighting
I think im gonna fly
Judging anybody means to judge your reflections and means judging yourself! Causes a battlefield in your heart and doesn’t let you to love and fly 😉👊🏻💚
Let go of things that no longer serve you, and are holding you back from reaching your true potential.
It might seem scary at first, but how else are you going to make room for all the good that’s coming your way?
You’re worth it. You deserve to be happy. Take a leap of faith and clear the clutter
The minute you step away from the negative people in your life you will instantly see the beauty in your horizon.
Such a sad fact. Yesterday, I used more single use plastic travelling than I have in my last 5 years. 😔♻️ It is now believed that there are 5.25 trillion pieces of #plastic debris in the #ocean . Of that mass, 269,000 tons float on the surface, while some four billion plastic microfibers per square kilometer #litter the deep #sea .
Shoppers worldwide are using approximately 500 billion #singleuse#plasticbags per year.
This translates to about a million bags every minute across the globe, or 150 bags a year for every person on #earth .
If you joined them end on end they would circumnavigate the globe 4,200 times.
100,000 #marine creatures a year die from #plasticentanglement and these are the ones found.
Approximately 1 million #seabirds also die from #plastic .
A plastic bag can kill numerous animals because they take so long to disintegrate. An animal that dies from the #bag will decompose and the bag will be released, another animal could harmlessly fall victim and once again eat the same bag.
The #1 man made thing that sailors see in our ocean are plastic bags.
There are believed to be 46,000 pieces of plastic in every square mile of #ocean .
It can take anything between 20-1000 years for a plastic #bag to break up into smaller pieces. They don’t break down and those that do, break down into polymers and #toxic chemicals.
It takes just 4 family #shopping trips to accumulate 60 #shoppingbags .
World wide, 13,000-15,000 pieces of plastic are dumped into the ocean every day.
Every year, 6.4 million tonnes are dumped into the ocean. This is the same as 3,200 kilometres of trucks each loaded with #garbage .
At least 2/3 of the world’s #fish stocks are suffering from plastic ingestion.
#Oceanacidification is a growing problem
Scientists have identified 200 areas declared as ‘dead zones’ where no life organisms can now grow. (📸 @officialenvironmentalfacts)
Hello everyone! I hope you're having a nice day!
You're amazing! Don't give up. You matter. There are people who worry about you. People who love you. Even if it doesn't seem like it sometimes (like family etc)
There are however people who play with your feelings and use you. They are toxic and in long term-really dangerous. You forget yourself. They will make you feel bad when they don't get what they want. They will try to ruin your good relationships. Please don't try to give in to those! They don't want to help you-they want to hurt you.
It can be hard not to listen to their "positive" and "helpful" stuff, especially when you're down and haven't heard things like that in a long ass while.
I know that personally.
Anyway-this is not about me, it's about you beautiful people!
Please think about my words. -
I took some selfies because I'm bored and just look at Lough please! He's so fricking amazing.
I love this little fuck so much I want to punch myself. -photo by @ me
