• Favorite figure: I don’t believe I have one single figure that I consider to be my absolute favorite. From my childhood I would say for GI Joe it would have to be Flash, Stalker, Flint, Scrap Iron, Zartan, & any of the Dreadnoks; for Star Wars definitely Bespin Luke, ROTJ Lando, and Greedo. Of the more modern figures, I would say that the GI Joe 30th Anniversary Cobra Viper is definitely all-time top 10. The chrome visor and the details are amazing. While as a kid I played a lot of Star Wars, but when Joe came out there was nothing like it. Today, Star Wars Black Series and the Marvel Legends lines continue to impress me and my wallet. However, I would have to say that if a figure has good articulation; chances are it’s a fun figure. I am collector of vintage and modern Joe and Star Wars. Both properties are pretty much part of my DNA now.
• Favorite movie/comic/tv/cartoon character (& why): Favorite movie: Star Wars. I grew up with the original trilogy. A New Hope was the first movie I ever saw in a theatre as a re-release before ESB. I’m just a fan of everything SW. Favorite comic of all time is GI Joe ARAH and Amazing Spiderman. Favorite TV crosses over for me into cartoons. I’m still a big fan of many cartoons but all-time favorites would be GI Joe, Transformers, Thundercats, Thundar, Spiderman and his Amazing Friends, Exo-Squad, Batman: Animated Series, American Dad, The Cleveland Show, The Clone Wars, Rebels, the list goes on.
