It’s an emotion we all experience. It’s the lens through which I viewed the world for years. Honestly, I still struggle with it to this day, despite my stress mitigation and mindset enhancing disciplines. To be angry is to know passion, is to feel the inner fire, and to embrace the dark side of being human. Heated torrents of hate and fear overwhelmingly drown the mind when overcome by anger. There are so many reasons why not to be angry, yet in the moment, they seem theoretically distant at best. 
On my journey, I’ve placed determined efforts in overcoming my limiting belief systems through various meditation practices. Contemplative disciplines have transformed every aspect of my life by empowering me to place personal identity on the inner-self. My life without these transformative routines would have been like a ship without sails. They are my internal compass and have been a stabilizing force in my life. Meditation is one of the highest #civilianskills a Veteran can adopt in their quest to find inner peace

I needed to let off steam today as I'm in the process of moving home; however, during this last week, I've needed to reduce intensity as at that lucky time of the month, I experience an massive energy dip and my sciatica flares up.  The extreme energy dip is something new to me since turning 41, along with some other extra awesome things... oh how lucky men are!! To optimally train alongside our menstrual cycle we need to considere what's happening with our hormones and the effect it has on us during the various phases of menstruation.  The various shifts in our hormones have a noticeable impact on our mood, energy, strength, hunger and even an injury risk.  Diet, as well as training, can be programmed to work alongside our cycle along with taking supportive supplements such as 5HTP, B6 and magnesium which help reduce symptom of PMS 
So for me, a lower intensity session today but definitely a quadzilla burner🔥

A3. Trapbar Squat (heel elevated) 6-8 reps,

Boom to Monday mornings!!! The freedom to create all that is awesome in this gym... This morning circuit twas a killer :

A1.  Snatch grip deficit deadlift (love these bad boys), 6-8 reps, 4010 tempo

A2.  Prowler push, 2 lengths 
A3.  Front Squat (heel elevated), 10-12reps, 3010 tempo 
A4.  Prowler push, 2 lengths (prowler weight on circuit - 140kg)

Note of program design for Front Squat - rule of thumb - never go more than 5-7 due to the complexity of the lift, I made an exception to the rule because it's my favourite lift, out of all lifts, this kills my quads the most so I went lighthouse quads were scorched💥 
Repeat 5 rounds, 15-20s rest in between rounds
