The @istuntacademy journey with my brother @russmccarroll. It took over a year of hard work, saving up, time and energy to achieve a dream we both had. Lots of up but definitely plenty of downs but it's momentum that keeps you moving forward. If you have a dream, do it. The real fun was in the process of getting there.

Jacqui started training at The Unit after winning our opening competition. She hadn't exercised for a number of years and was apprehensive about where to start.
When she started deadlifting the 8kg kettlebell was a challenge, here she is lifting 55kg for reps!! Now in her third block of PT she continues to amaze me every week! After several months of beurocratic ambages we have finally started construction of our training facility. From this point it is not that much left till we open the doors. We are sure that we can make it a special place for the people who share the same passion that we are and in return we are very eager to share the bits of knowledge we have been gathering over years of practice. It is a very exciting stage in our lives as this is something each one of our team was going to for many years. Tuesday Tip: try performing an overhead bar carry as a finisher on your next shoulder day. Start by carrying it for 2-3 sets 30 seconds each then increase the time by 15 seconds weekly. This is great for core stability as well as targeting your traps and delts. Plus it's a great activity to use in our outdoor area!
