I turned 34 today, but age is just a number. I’m still a kid at heart... my toys are just bigger now. My lovely wife finished my bow setup as a gift. How cool is that?!?! New sight, arrow rest, stabilizer, quiver, & arrows. Now time for some night practice.
I’m still in awe of this MT Bighorn....this picture does it no justice. Great time at the Sheep Show this year I love seeing old friends and making new ones!! Have a great year everyone!! #wildsheepfoundation#massfordays#traintohunt
Making a #healthy#crockpot dinner. We're having #crockpot chicken and dumplings 🐔. Only 506 calories a serving and it makes 4 servings. This is also pinned on my Pinterest (Brooke Mihm)
1 large onion , diced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of celery soup (I used fat free)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup (I used fat free)
1 tablespoon fresh parsley (mine wasn't fresh, it was dried so it turned it kind of green looking)
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
black pepper to taste (used about a 1/2t)
4 skinless boneless chicken breasts
2 cups low sodium chicken broth (I had to buy two 14.5oz cans..they don't have 16oz cans at WinCo 🤦) 2 cups frozen vegetables or peas and carrots , defrosted
1 can (8 pieces) refrigerated biscuits (we picked Homestyle)
Add onion to 6 qt crock pot and top with chicken breasts.
In a small bowl, combine cream of celery soup, cream of chicken soup, parsley, poultry seasoning and pepper. Spread over chicken breasts. Top with chicken broth and cook on high 5 hours.
Approximately 1 hour (I allow 60 – 90 minutes) before serving (after 4 hours of cooking time), roll each biscuit thin and flat. Cut into 4 strips. Add vegetables to the slow cooker and stir. Add biscuit strips on top. Replace lid as quickly as possible.
Remove chicken breasts and slightly shred. Add back into slow cooker and stir (this will break up the dumplings somewhat which is ok). Let cook an additional 10 minutes and serve.
Not every day is a triumph in the gym. I had my arse handed to me, my deficiencies exposed in such a raw way. My performance this afternoon was a disappointment. Yet, I showed up, did something and it makes me want to train harder in pursuit of my #wildgoals2018#wildernessathlete#staywild#traintohunt#crossfit
Humbled and honored to work with long Time TOCA patient and friend Eric Bennett, World Champion Archer. Every encounter inspires me to be a better father, better man, better surgeon. #traintohunt#inspiration#eternalexpansion
Shed traps? What's you opinion? Fact of the matter is they can be extremely dangerous to a whitetails health. If a buck ready to drop, no harm no fowl. Key word is READY, if he is not though this can cause him to become entangled and possible break his pedicle. This may is some cased need to abnormal growth, infection or ever skull damage which may led to death in some extreme cases. So yes they can be cool to walk up on a pile of #whitegold but can also be counter productive in your herd health. Stay ready, stay educated that's how you #hiityourmark

Okay Mommas with multiple children, did you show a lot earlier with your second? Already having to say peace out to my pants✌, and ready for maternity clothes🙈. I swear I didn't show with Ady until 17 weeks and I'm only going on week 12 what the heck?
It would have been so easy to just stay in bed this morning... but I got up and went for a mile and a half walk/run. (My husband says it doesn’t count but HELLO baby fat is hard to get rid of when you first start!) lol (he was totally joking btw)
Getting back into a work out routine has been difficult for me. I guess it’s just choosing everyday to do something, taking steps everyday to get back in shape. I’ve found that if I focus too much on the end goal and all the work I have to do to get there, I get overwhelmed and give up. So here’s to baby steps! .
How do you keep yourself motivated to reach your goals?
