After incorporating a seafood diet (see food & eat it huhu 🙃) and drinking around the clock, my conditioning is less than great & I felt demotivated. Guess what though, it took all of about 30 seconds to envision what the next few weeks must consist of. Consistency in my own diet and training & focusing on helping clients reach their goals. -
Don't expect to sustain this lifestyle without tracking progress & creating and reaching goals. How else are you expecting to learn about your body and from your mistakes & continue to improve? Bring on fat season(I'm not actually getting fat this time though, promise😁).

Oren Sport, Klang run was very well organize as expected. I always support event by this company, MyLifeStyle. My organizer friend told me that they have 5k+ runners registered for this event, good job 👍
As usual, I started too slow on the first 2km. Something I need to improve if I want to be competitive with the front group. Its only after 2km that I starting to reel the usual Elite runners. To my surprise, I caught up with few elites that I never thought it's even possible 😱 Perhaps they had a bad day which is normal for athletes. We cannot peak all the time. Finish with 4th position 🏆
My previous 10km PB was 2 months ago, ran at 4:17 average pace (AVP). Seriously, a PB at veteran age? 🤔 Then 2 weeks ago I had another PB running at 4:16 AVP, wohoo I'm a happy man. Checked my Garmin and today I had another PB with AVP of 4:09 😱 .
Surprised because I didn't do any serious run training in the last few weeks. Nowadays I'm very focus at building my cycling fitness. I believe all those vomit sessions at Cycology helps to build my fitness too. In fact my legs were still very tired from last few days of indoor cycling and yet I had a PB on running this morning. I must be dreaming, don't wake me up 😅

Good news is my FTP increased by 15 watts compare to 3 weeks ago. I'm so proud of myself, hard work pay off 💪
Bad news is training on the smart trainer just get tougher because its based on certain percentage of FTP 😒 Really struggle to follow the last 10' of today morning session.

Pedal Smoothness (PS) is a measurement of how evenly power is distributed throughout a 360-degree pedal stroke.
The POWERBEAT™ calculates this by dividing the average power (Pavg) by the peak power (Pmax) across one crank cycle, per side .These values are usually displayed as a percentage.
To illustrate, pushing down the pedals at the 2-4 o’clock angle, and cruising through the rest of the stroke, will result in lower PS values compared to both pushing and pulling the pedals all through the crank’s rotation.
In general, expect to see different PS values depending on your immediate cycling intensity, style and cadence, and on your current fatigue. Typical values are in the 10 to 40 % range.
Improving pedal smoothness can be achieved by performing specific workout drills (such as isolated leg drills) and even just focusing on this metric and on improving your technique!
