If you’re in the market for antlers, I know a guy. (He sized me up as a vegetarian pretty quickly and promised the majority of these were shed naturally in the spring as the animal grows a new set...Either way, I love meeting new people when I travel, even if their ways of being in the world differ greatly from my own. His smile and willingness to let me take his photo, even though it made him uncomfortable, made my day.)
I believe this shot was taken in early November when clouds came rolling in over the Organ Mountains, which is always awesome to watch and never gets old. The dynamic range of colors here help illustrate the depth and variety of the scenery and the detail to capture the texture, which can be so easily lost when trying to convey a photo on a more paint-like rendering. Thanks for looking and enjoy👍🇺🇸
Our lil city. We are so happy to be a part of this eccentric slice of small town America. The air is clean, the water tastes great from the tap, and the great outdoors beckon. Stay with us and let us show you around. #exploreraton#smalltownamerica
Shot of today's crew. The Rio Grandé Gorge is one of my favorite places. The beauty changes ever so slightly throughout the seasons, making every journey within it a familiar, yet unique, experience. It never hurts to have 3 great friends and a dog along as well~🌹
#throwbackthursday to our time staying with the folks over at @hotellunamystica. This place is sick. Vintage. Trailer. Hotel. Yes, it is as cool as it sounds.

#tbt to fantastic adventures, mysterious passages, and underground enchantment with fellow rangers at Carlsbad Caverns 👊🙏 This photo was taken in one of the largest rooms of the cave, the Guad Room, a beautiful area with limited visitation and requiring multiple hours of caving to access 💪
