I hiked volcano Concepcion against all odds🌋💪! I was looking for hiking buddies yesterday the whole day to hike the smaller volcano behind me.. it was 10pm and I still didn’t have anybody to go with so I kinda gave up. But a bit later I found a guide from the bar and we hiked the bigger volcano instead! Did it with 2h 40min instead of 4h💪. Guess I’m not in such a bad shape after all 😜 ohhh and I met Estonians on top of volcano Concepcion today! ☺️ Life is an adventure!
Yup. We’re that excited because our #swellgoesnica surf and yoga adventure is on.

Cheers to this guy @andrew_gen for pursuing his dreams and opening an amazing hostel in Nicaragua. Had a blast at the grand opening of @ruamokohostel where the surf is great and the atmosphere is even better! #ruamokohostel#ruamoko
“We are meant to live in joy. This does not mean that life will be easy or painless. It means that we can turn our faces to the wind and accept that this is the storm we must pass through. We cannot succeed by denying what exists. The acceptance of reality is the only place from which change can begin." -

View from the suspension bridge at my mates hostel in Granada! Treehouse hostel is withour a doubt top 5 favorite hostels I've been to in the world! A hostel in the middle of the jungle build literally in the trees with monkeys swinging from tree to tree above you! Absolutely sick! Can't wait to go back and is just down the road!! #travel#traveler#backpacking#travelnicaragua @faroutsunglasses
We are departing Masatepe today and will be spending the night in Managua close to the airport for our flight to Belize tomorrow.
Part of me feels like we have been here forever and the other part feels like these five weeks have passed in the blink of an eye. I can’t adequately describe my love for this little city and it’s people. I will miss the street market right outside our house, the gallo pinto and tostones every night, the neighborhood kids playing football all day on our street, speaking Spanish all day, coffee at beto’s, the moto taxis, and all our new friends we have made here.
It has been a joy to serve and partner with some amazing organizations and ministries here in the city. We have worked at a farm that operates as a rehabilitation center, played with kids and served food at the trash dump, helped wire a house for electricity for a local family, cleared land for a sustainable garden at an elementary school, hosted a worship night, partnered with a youth outreach, and everything in between.
I couldn’t be more proud of our YWAM students. I am blown away by their availability to serve, readiness to work hard and their capacity to love deeply.
Although I am sad to leave this place, I know we will be back and because part of my heart is here it will feel a bit like coming home ❤️🇳🇮
How was your Sunday?😊
Mine was amazing and super active!💪 I biked 2 hours on super dusty and bumpy roads with my next level velo🚴♀️ and after being super tired of that I walked up to San Ramon waterfall💦. It’s 56 meters high and stunning! 😳❤️
I made it to the mountains!! Holy moly, I’ve spent the last 6 weeks or so mostly on the coast and it’s been beautiful and the ocean is amazing, buuuuut I am so, so happy to be in the mountains. Officially off the “backpackers highway” and exploring little mountain towns in the Estelí region in northern Nicaragua. Noticing little things about myself on this journey, observing what makes my heart sing, feeling good. #esteli#estelinicaragua#travelnicaragua#lagarnacha#mochilera
