O ranking nacional foi atualizado e a grande novidade é o salto do jovem Miguel Hidalgo, integrante da Seleção Brasileira Júnior. Após figurar pela primeira vez entre os melhores atletas de elite no mês de outubro, na 19ª posição, o paulista de apenas 17 anos assumiu a 12ª colocação no ranking masculino depois de finalizar em 8º lugar na Copa Continental Premium Sprint de Santo Domingo. . . . . . . . . .
Manoel @messiastri segue na liderança entre os homens, seguido por @danilopimentel3, @kauewilly, @diogosclebin e @matheusdiniztri fechando o Top 5. Nenhuma mudança também no ranking feminino que tem @luisabaptistad em primeiro lugar, a campeã da Copa Continental Premium de Santo Domingo, @bia_neres firme na vice-liderança isolada, @vittorialopes na terceira posição, seguida por @pami_oliveira e Luíza Cravo, quarto e quinto lugar, respectivamente.

It was Rockinghams first race of the Triathlon season today and wow what a turn out we had. Especially in the kids. It was so great to see so many kiddies out there! Super proud of them all.
Thank you to everyone who came down and raced and also volunteered their time. With out you our races do not go ahead.

When you do hill reps and hill sprints (📸1)to try and test your max heart rate and basically ruin yourself and only get your heart to 180 but you accidentally did a way better job at @parkrunuk when you ran there then ran a PB (📸2) Saturday just gone and hit 192 with like 3km above 180 🤷♀️I wonder if it will go higher!?! This past summer I listened to an AMAZING podcast reco’d by #FitFriend @blairehoude that really put things into perspective re: the F WORD (it was called The Good Life Project - Jonathan Fields feat. Elizabeth Gilbert, “Curiosity & The Passion Fallacy”) I won’t spoil it for ya, but the one thing that reallllly stuck with me was 👉🏼 instead of trying to battle fear🤺... befriend it ♥️ Walk hand in hand with it 👯 Recognize what a magnificent force it is ☄️, and do your best to harness that energy💥 to do whatever it is you’re afraid of doing. Trust - one small work of 🏹bravery leads to another...and another... annnnd you get the 📸 friends! 🙌🏼 .
One of my biggest fears WAS open water swimming🏊🏻 . Long story short, pretty sure i almost drowned water rafting in Ottawa one summer... ever since then, i couldn’t help but panic every time i went under 💦🙈. It wasn’t until @grenner44 and i randomly signed up to do a triathlon that i came face to face with my fear 😳 #OpenWaterSwimming . Instead of battling it🤺, i gave it mad props 👊🏼 and even invited it to join me on race day... you know, like a coach 🤣HA! Three tri’s later, I’d say we’re pretty tight 🤞🏼😜 .

Run ✅ made of 15x3 minute running at an RPE 8-9. I live for these kind of heart-raising sessions. 💦 Week 2 of @ironmantri Bolton training is over. Bring on week three!

If you know me well you know I’m not crazy about running races. I love the run portion of the triathlon though. I know it’s weird 😜. But tomorrow I will be tackling the #hotchocolate15k with a couple of friends. I’m not gonna lie - it’s going to be a hard one for me. I have not trained this whole week. The temperatures drop last Saturday overnight and my #arthritis has flared up big time. Every joint of my body hurts. EVERYTHING 😡. So I will be dedicating this race to all my #behcetswarrior and #arthritiswarrior out there! #becauseican even when it hurts. And doing #forthosewhocant

First marathon and first half IRONMAN completed in October, but still my lowest monthly mileage all year (excluding May when I was injured)!
I guess with tapering + recovering it makes sense... though gotta say, it still looks funny to me!
One of my @phillytriclub teammates dragged me to my first @novemberprojectphl workout last week - it kicked my a$$ big time! Don't think I've done a burpee this decade and was feeling it for DAYS! Low key embarrassed 🙈. But dragged myself there again this morning and am loving it! I for one am not Mrs. Energized and Encouragement at 6:25am #lastnamesleepyfirstnamealways 😴 but this group has the best vibes they are always pumped and it helps get me going! #octobermiles
Racing is fun, but my greatest joy in the Triathlon world comes from volunteering.
This year has been some of the most fun volunteer experiences I have ever had; Flying through downtown Lake Placid with @acfmonkey on the chase for 1st, meeting and motivating a new role model @robyn.hardage at both #imlp and #imlou , slapping butts and giving high fives at special needs to @speed4liam @floriantrept @scottduclos and Howie Harrington, and receiving amazing letters like this one from racers.
This weekend will be my 19th Ironman volunteer day (not to mention the many smaller races) and I will be supporting one of my greatest supporters @patriotmultisport and the speedy @mskelly1234 at #imflorida .
But really folks, if you race, or even just love someone who does race, consider volunteering. It’s the greatest feeling on earth to give back. #raceonegiveone#volunteers#patriotmultisport
