Guess who's at her third home?! This gal! #Biceps and #Triceps bout to go down. If you're in #SpruceGrove swing by @snapfitnesssprucegrove and train with us or do some posing practice or whatever. @jason_w_norton is on his way! My #workout is about 1:45 today so here for a couple hours. #LatahGatahs 💪🏽
This entire year for me focused on doing more calves and hamstrings specifically. While my hamstrings aren't quite where I want them yet, I'm happy with how they're coming along. My calves don't look pathetic anymore and are actually much more proportional to my arms than I think they were a year ago. Legs measured yesterday at 28 inches, last time I checked maybe 9 months or so ago, they were 27.5 inches. Some of the things I believe contributed most to my leg growth was increasing frequency based on recovery. I realized my calves would only be sore for a day or two max. I started hitting them every other day until recovery was needed and I reduced frequency back down to 2x a week. Another thing; paying attention to actual weight lifted instead of auto regulating so much. I was going off RPE too much and I wasn't forcing myself to try to beat previous work out performance. Taking a more objective approach on squats alone I think created some good growth. Finally, ensuring I'm foam rolling and releasing the tension and knots in the fascia. I've noticed that if you increase frequency in any exercise, and you don't actively re-establish proper ROM, then you eventually get so tight that your range of motion is so limited you can't even properly "feel" the muscle being stimulated. The same exercises will begin to feel different. TL;DR: Making sure I was actively stretching, using performance as a biofeedback marker to establish needed recovery, and ultimately progressive overload I think were the key factors in the results I've been seeing. Weighed in at 257.9 today. Losing weight too fast gotta slow down lol. #bodybuilding#classicphysique#globalbodybuildingorganization#classicbodybuilding#triceps#sidetricep#legs#hamstrings#calves#training#fitness#fitness#progress#mass#prep#cut#competition
Week 2 arms of the #bbgmashup complete! Still flat out packing (I had no idea how much stuff we own and have managed to fit in this house 🙄!! The hubby is not happy!! Not been sleeping great and it's all self inflicted as I'm just super excited about the new house - constantly on Pinterest and my other Instagram account before bed which means I'm up late!
As a result I've not been great with my eating and not training as much as I'd like, but despite all this I found that workout not exactly easy, but very manageable. I completed every tricep dip with my legs straight continuous - I've never managed that. Felt so strong. I'm putting it down to the @this_mam_can arms challenge last month. #postworkoutsweatyselfie for @ams_bbg_ , thanks for the tag lovely 😘
Busy day tomorrow so not sure I'll get chance to train. But feel so much better after getting that done when it was the last thing I wanted to do after a day of packing. #this_mam_can#bbgweek13arms#lovedit#triceps#tricepsstrength#busypacking#bbgmum
++ TRIZEPS ++ —————————————————————————————— Hey Ho, #fitfam !
Haut rein! 💪 —————————————————————————————— #trizeps#triceps#fitness#blog#workout#workoutdone#fitfamgermany#motivation#nopainnogain#muscles#headphones#veins#team3vn#germany#gifhorn#wagenhoff
