Tricep pushdowns target all three heads of the tricep, however by incorporating a rope pushdown you are able to fully isolate the lateral head and give it a deep stretch and contraction which helps develop that horse shoe tricep action🔥🐎 When performing this exercise 2 things to look out for are making sure you're elbows are tucked in towards you're body and that you really emphasise on the squeezing of the muscle at the end of the pushing phase💪 This is an ISOLATION movement, be sure you are using minimal momentum to push the weight as this takes the stress away from you're lateral head and defeats the purpose of the isolated exercise❌❌❌❌ I personally like to raise my elbows slightly in front of me to really stretch and open up the muscle🙏
Very tough and exhausting week of training is behind me, and it was a real pleasure and well worth every drop of sweat and pain that I've been through. Armzzz.... 💪
First exercise, alternating straight and EZ bar curls, 10 sets of 10 reps. Second exercise, machine dips, 10 sets of 10 reps. After that I did a superset of cable overhand curls and standing wrist curls with no rest in between the sets until I completed a 💯reps total for my forearms.
The weekend is in front of me which means time for some active rest. Probably I'm gonna be doing some form of light cardio or something... Try this #germanvolumetraining and feel the blood rushing through your body 🔥
