#fbf The Halloween fun continued with our first Trunk or Treat with out @fit4momqueenseast family. Families participated by decorating their trunks and the kids were able to walk from car to car, trunk or treating! Kellan and I made mini cupcake treats for our friends (not sure when I became THAT mom). The fun continued at @riseofthejackolanterns to see thousands of hand carved, illuminated pumpkins.
On Halloween Day, we met with a few friends at the mall, grabbed pizza with another friend and stumbled upon a random block that had lots of cool decorations.
A few days after indulging in some candy, we separated the non-candy items. We donated the leftover to our local Ronald McDonald House. It was a great opportunity to teach him about giving. Surprisingly, it went over well.
An loosely planned Halloween weekend turned into lots of fun with family and friends.
Students, faculty, and local families attend Meramec's 3rd annual Trunk-or-Treat on Oct. 27, in the cafeteria. Clubs created spooky Halloween themed tables, based on their club, and passed out candy to children. The evening also included a DJ that got children, faculty, and students up and dancing to some Halloween classics.
