It’s my REST DAY!!!!! It’s currently 1130 am and I’m still in my pjs. I haven’t showered and I’m currently watching Paw Patrol with my toddler.
I’ve meal prepped half my meals. I’m going to do the other half when my back up gets home.
This past week was mentally challenging for me. Tears were shed, curse words flew and my body is sore AF.
But my results in 1 week have been out of this world 🌎! As much as I am enjoying my rest day, I’m looking forward to what this week will bring. I’m ready for it! ✌🏻 and ❤️
This happened this morning
Digging deeper of course happens in the moment, but it also can be proactive
Not only did I take on Vertical Plyo from Asylum Volume 1, I used something I’ve wanted to use for a while - a weighted jump rope. When my last rope snapped, this was the time to dig deeper and push harder
I also used a weighted vest - but knew this was going to rely on my form entirely to keep me safe...but weighted rope + weighted vest on double jumps? Weighted vest + resistance bands + Plyo push-ups in Ladder? Yeesh 🤯
All around, I can’t even put into words the amount of work and burn this had. I’m seriously feeling things in areas I didn’t know existed 😳😭
