I’m jumping in on the #unityofletters project, started by the talented by @jamesllewis. The internet is a wonderful place where we can get inspired, and connect with people from all different walks of life. After seeing @lisa_quine’s post about her efforts to connect, I’m inspired to be more intentional about being here, by sharing more, and starting more conversations instead of just scrolling through in a daze. Everyone’s welcome here!
2 DRIBBBLE INVITES!
See below for more info:
Are you a designer trying to join Dribbble? Well, they were nice enough to give me 2 invites, and one of them could be yours! Here’s how to get your hands on one:
• Follow me on Dribbble (@tannerpuzio)
• Send your portfolio to email@example.com by January 29th
• Be sure to include your prospect name so I can send you the invite if you are chosen
I’ll be choosing my two favorite portfolios shortly after the 29th. Thank you all for participating, and good luck! 🏀
First off, how true is this statement?? 😂🎂 Secondly, I get a lot of questions about tips and tricks to learn to letter. My answer will always be simple: practice! No fancy pens or markers can compete with good old fashioned practice. Today on my timehop I saw a piece that I had lettered for my house three years ago, which is way before I really got into lettering. Just to compare, I lettered the same sentiment today (the first picture is what I lettered today, and you can swipe to see the picture I lettered three years ago). What a huge difference consistent practice makes!
