Review mode: Clinique Superbalanced makeup foundation in the shade
Ulta & clinique.com
So the lady from ulta recommended this to me for my sensitive, combo skin.
I have such mix feelings about this.
Applying this Fonda is very easy, it glides smoothly to my skin but I preferred using my oval foundation brush on this because it looked dry & patchy when I used the beauty blender the first time.
Also the coverage is good, buildable which is pretty cool.
The staying power sucks on this one, only lasted for like 3-5hours & that’s it.
It also transfers a lot too, from my clothes, my hands when I unconsciously touched my face.
Shades are pretty ok except it has like the worst orangey undertones on the medium colored ones which I don’t like.
The worst part about this is this is very oily! Omg I can’t even explain how it made my skin super oily & more prone to breakouts after I used it.
Maybe for somebody who has dry skin this could be a good match but for combo skin, this is a big NO.
Let me know what you guys think!
Btw, swipe left to see how it looks on me 😂
Karrine is one of those beauties who’s stunning with and without makeup. (And her natural lashes are UNREAL. Those aren’t extensions 😱) Unfortunately forgot to get a before but here I did the signature dewy skin and a quick warm glowy eye.

Shout out to my brother for taking me shopping for makeup. #bestbrotherever ! 🤣 We went to Westfield Santa Anita to the brand new @elfcosmetics store! Picked up the pointed powder brush ($6), Prime and Stay powder in 'translucent fair/light' ($2), blush/highlighter in 'Shy' ($2), and my favorite : the Shimmering Facial Whip in 'Pink Lemonade' ($1). I've been using the facial whip since high school, and love it! It's very comparable to the one by Becca Cosmetics in my opinion. It's been a while since I used the blush, and they have reformulated it since. It's super creamy and buttery feeling now! The pigmentation is so much better compared to when they had it in the little rectangular slide out compact about 4 years ago. The translucent powder is buttery and smooth as well. I intend to use it as an all over setting powder. I was sad to see they no longer sell their $1 squeeze tube glosses. I loved those in high school! It's nice to be able to swatch and try things in store. Great to find your shade for foundations and such. I've always wanted to go to an E.L.F. store. I discovered them through a friend in high school, when their company first started. (They used to sell lip gloss cell phone keychains and sliding tin lip gloss out of a fish bowl container!) I look forward to seeing more elf stores open in the coming years. Just really sad that their items aren't as affordable as they once were. They got rid of the body care, mineral, and most of their $1 line. Hopefully they bring back their $1 line in the future, even if it is just sold online. Those tube lip gloss though! 😿 I really missed the sweet grapey fragrance to them.
I know these aren’t the best pictures, but oh 🐳 ~DEETS~

My personal top favorite hair products that work best for my hair, everyone is different. Curly hair can be really complicated to maintain, but needless to say I’ve found what works for me! As you can see Deva Curl & Briogeo are my top go to’s! I don’t use any heat on my hair and never plan to whatsoever(I hate my hair straight anyways lol) these products have definitely given my hair more curl definition and hydration. A big tip is to get a trim!!! My hair is pretty much a little past shoulder length now and it has more volume and dimension than before!! I also purchased a conditioning mask bc my stylist said I have dehydration and it has made suchhhh a difference!!! And also get yourself a micro fiber towel for your hair, never dry your hair with a regular towel as it promotes frizz!! Plus Castor oil can also be applied massaged on the scalp to promote thickness & hair growth! There are different types , I decided to get it organic and cold pressed. I apply it 30 minutes before then I rinse it off! Castor oil has a lot of benefits!! And yahhhhh don’t wanna make this post too long talking about every product so just DM me for any questions k thanks ❤️❤️❤️❤️
