This is one of the best #unagi I've had and one of the best meals so far. This one is at Atsuta Horaiken Honten in Nagoya. Just look at it glisten. 😊 Complementing the food is the traditional vibe of the restaurant. Actually, it looks more like a house than a restaurant. Amazing experience! 😍😍😍
Unagi that never fails! I always try to have unagi if I'm flying through Narita. I wanted to try this famous unagi shop in Odawara the day before but the wait was too long. In Narita there are plenty of good unagi shops so no issue!
Hitsumabushi is a Nagoya specialty, a different way of serving eel; one eats a portion with green onion and wasabi, and another with dashi broth that is provided. At Ibasho, the experience was unique - instead of dashi, one is invited to pour green tea on the eel. The result was out of this world 🤤 what a find 🤗 #foodporn#unagi#japan
