Finally got to see @justiceleague and I loved it! I can't wait for the extended version to see what was unfortunately cut out of the theatrical release. Now the countdown begins to get some Green Lanterns involved! #unitetheseven#justiceleague#bewaremypower
NO SPOILERS: Just saw Justice League, and I can say that critics rating this super low must have some sort of brain malfunction. I'm fully aware of Warner Brothers owning 30% stock in Rotten Tomatoes, but I don't think Rotten Tomatoes is accurate. I understand it's a bunch of critics, but the audience score is currently at 86%, and that's what I find accurate. It's a great movie, and I was flipping out watching it. I loved it. Was it perfect? No. Was it still an epic movie? Yes. I think the reshoots did a little damage, it feels a little fast-paced, and the big bad Steppenwolf isn't the most memorable, but those are the only major fundamental flaws of the movie I've seen. I did feel like Wonder Woman was a little depowered, especially when compared to her solo movie, and that to me was the worst sin of the movie. (I understand it's kind of minor, I'm just a fan of WW so it bothered me more than some people). Every single character was likable and enjoyable. I loved Ezra's Flash just as much, and maybe even a little more than Grant's. Ben as Batman felt more like Batman should be. He was dark, but he still had a strong moral compass. Wonder Woman was excellent, with the exception of what I mentioned earlier. I loved Jason's Aquaman. Ray's Cyborg was also great, and everyone who thinks he's too dark clearly doesn't understand his backstory. My dude's got no dick and wants to die; give him a break. The dialogue between each member alone made the movie worth it for me. The movie was funny, but not in a way that feels forced. I'm looking at you, MCU. Other than the very first scene, the CGI wasn't bad at all. It's pretty impressive actually. There's two post-credit scenes, and you NEED to stay for the last one😍 Overall: Amazing film with a few flaws. The lackluster villain, last-minute reshoots, and pacing are hiccups, but they don't detract from how amazing this movie truly is! 8.5/10😁 #justiceleague#justiceleaguereview#unitetheseven#cometogether#unitetheleague#youcantsavetheworldalone
Justice League… WOW! I love this movie! While I do think the rating for the critics have given is unfair ((currently standing at 39% at Rotten Tomatoes (aka the most reliable source for movie reviews, notice the sarcasm there)), Justice League is great still in my opinion, despite the extensive reshoots and the large amount of editing that went into this (originally being like 2h 45m or longer), they managed, and the theatrical cut did work in my opinion, and I’m open to the Extended Version of the film (if they ever make one). If you really didn’t like the bleak and dark tone of the previous DC movies (ie. Man of Steel and Batman v Superman), I’d say give this one a shot… if you did enjoy Wonder Woman, you would like this one! I love all the characters and the story that brings the heroes together. Still one of my favourites is Ezra Miller’s Flash! There’s one scene that can makes this Flash easily better than the CW TV version (take a guess at that in the comments below). I have to also say, one of my biggest gripes of the DCEU Superman was that he was too dark and no personality whatsoever. The “reboot” for his character did him Justice (pun intended), and I’m happy as a fan of the character. The lightheartedness really sold me, and the colour grading adds to that. It was really like seeing a comic book come to life. As for the negatives, there are a few… one; Steppenwolf was just meh… he was generic for a villain, and I wish I got to understand more of his motivation. Also what threw me off was the amount of humour coming out of THE Batman. He was throwing one-liners here and there, and I’m not sure what to think of that because he’s such a serious character and that making him say a few jokes made it negate his character a bit. That’s all the complaints I have, I still love the Justice League film and I would see it again! Have you seen the movie? What did you think of it? I’d love to know your comments down below!
This was amazing. Sorry to you marvel fam boys for hating but beginning to end this was epic. If you watched or read any of the old comic's then you will truly appreciate this. Dc all day @zephyr_one #justiceleague#unitetheseven#dcovermarvel
Going to watch Justice League today. Just very disappointed to read about news about the runtime of the movie was highly influenced by the boards of WB and lots of precious visions of Zack Synder was trimmed down.
WHY WONT THEY LEARN AFTER TWO LESSON? CANT THEY JUST LET THE DIRECTORS DO THEIR OWN THING?
What I can say is that I can only cross my finger and hope for the best. Just sign for a petition for the Justice League protest campaign. Hope they will soon learn the mistakes of Marvel and leave the work to the professionals.
Wonder Woman hasn't have this problem, why not Justice League? WB?
