Today we are presenting you a person you will definitely not find twice in this world. He is a filmmaker, surfer, musician, soccer player, co-founder of the lightening studio and incredible friend Lorenzo! “HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF” 🌟🌟
Where are you from and how did you get to Goldey?
I’m originally from Bali/Indonesia, but have lived my teenage years in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil. I got to Goldey through a company in charge of bringing soccer student-athletes to the US. After of year of college in PUC-Rio, I moved to Delaware to pursue a degree in Marketing in GBC and to play soccer for the Lightning.
What do you love to do on the evenings or weekends?
I love going out, anything that I do when surrounded by my friends is worthwhile. I love playing music, going to the beach, surfing, skating and eventually playing a game of soccer. At night is when I usually have time to edit and work on projects for Lightning Studio.
What is the number one thing on your bucket list?
At this moment, is to be happy with whatever life brings. Patience is a virtue that does not come along easy, especially when you are a senior and a lot of life decisions are to be made in this near future. *
What advice would you give to your Freshmen self?
I was here at Goldey-Beacom, and the advice I would give myself is to appreciate and absorb every single day I have here. Time flies in college and that is something that you don’t realize much when you’re a freshman. The trips with the team, with your friends, the people you meet and even the early pre-season practices, are all something that will be part of the best time of our lives.
What is something you believe that other people think is insane?
I believe in faith. Not in the most religious term of the word, but I truly believe that having faith in yourself, in the people you care, the place where you’re from, are fundamental for your growth as a person.
If you could have one gigantic billboard anywhere with anything on it, what would it say?
Sing Ken Ken (Which is Balinese for “no worries”)
Describe Goldey with one word.
