The pull-up bar is up and I was stoked to realize that I can still bang out a few. 💪🏼 I haven't attempted a chin-up in over a year so didn't think I still had it in me so I was definitely pleasantly surprised. 😄 Going to keep working on my grip strength and different variations because I would like to work my way back up to being able to do at lest a set of 10.

Working on rebuilding shoulder, back and core strength. I remember when I found out I conceived I wasn’t too happy about losing the fitness I built up post baby 1. It was a task ! I was super worried about going back to square one but keeping active and maintaining my yoga through pregnancy has ensured a fast recovery. I did NOT feel like leaving the house & I definitely did not feel like getting the dogs and kids dirty & muddy for me to clean up after, but I exercised discipline. I thought about what my priorities were, looked up a new place to check out, got my ass dressed & took them! They LOVED every short minute of it (it started raining) & we had the opportunity to see the sunset over the lake. I am so greatful to have taken that opportunity to #domore . I mean... look at their faces 😅

Here I use a step for push ups/commandos, use the box for bunny hops with my arms supporting, and do an alternative version of toe taps requiring balance and support from my arms and core. Really enjoy adding these in to mix my sessions up a bit and challenge my body in new ways 😁

I absolutely looooove training upper body 💪🏽😊 when I first started going to the gym my intention was simply to just lose weight & be skinny. I remember going to the gym everyday and spending an hour on the elyptical doing level 10 just so I could burn a 1000 calories. I love this reflection staring back at me ...❤️😎👈🏽 Some may find that hard to say or hear - it can be mistaken as vanity - I used to  have that attitude - especially when I was in an unhappy place 
Now I look back and I’m proud of what this body has done for me it’s carried 2 beautiful children in to this world -  it’s travelled the Globe, it’s got me through the hardest of times and the best of times .. I neglected it for many years taking for granted the miracle it is .. I continually poisoning it with booze , processed foods , sugary treats .

I know it takes time so after an intro back to tumbling session I took myself off and got to work on conditioning! .

This is a good go-to bodyweight circuit for anyone to try and 5 rounds was quite enough for me after an hour of training! (10 reps of each exercise, 5 handstands).

I signed up for a powerlifting meet in April because, well, I'm not that good at powerlifting 😎. I need to build tolerance for heavy loads. A meet will give me that focus. The mind-muscle connection of bodybuilding is something I'll always love, but taking a step sideways to improve my compound lifts will enable me to be a better bodybuilder in the long run. Also, powerlifting is really hard and I kind of hate it, which makes me more bull-headed about giving it a go 🐃 .
