Day 2/21: Today was a better day for me. Yesterday I got in a great workout, and then sunk myself back in bed with a half bag of chips I ate by myself. But whatever, it happened and I just allowed myself to feel every emotion.
My body is sore all over from my total body cardio yesterday. I woke up today thinking of all the things I am thankful for. I exhausted so much energy yesterday being heart broken and missing my momma. I know it won’t go away but she would want me to get up and better myself. So, I got my workout done and did some meal prep so I can set myself up for better days. 🙏🏻❤️

Sad to admit that when I took my Day 1 measurements yesterday my arms both lost about an inch in muscle. In the recent months I had to use lighter weights or no weights at all because my shoulder had felt strained 💥 Pushed myself with 15lbs for rows and curls to a shoulder press but for all the other "heavy" weighted moves during this morning's upper body workout I had to do 12lbs 😓 I will be as strong as I was again soon!.
PS - SO tired of doing everything with my glasses on 🤓 FINALLY going to the optometrist tomorrow!
We all have them….insecurities about ourselves. I’m too fat, my butt is too big, my arms jiggle, why can’t I have abs like his/her’s?
Throw that self-doubt out the window! It took a little (A LOT) courage to post this post-workout pic. Am I where I want to be with my fitness? NOPE. Do I have abs? NOPE. Do my arms jiggle? YEP! But, I’m committed, everyday I get up, and am one step closer.
I think we could all use a lesson in self-love, me included. This isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon and let me tell you, that’s a heck of a LONG way! It takes time, but one day you’ll wake up and you’ll have made it – then you set your next goal :)
Workout time featuring Teagan. Lol. She loves to join me, but only if to her it's "lots of jumping around" haha. She's so cute! Working on my form with the skater jumps but getting better and better every time I do them! Today was Upper Body Fix AND Cardio Fix. I ain't gonna lie, I was pretty tired before I did this workout. It has been a very busy day, but I still made sure to push play. Because the only one you're cheating is yourself when you don't do it. And although I may feel like I'm gonna die some days when I do these, I feel so great afterwards. Let's just say that I didn't get the best night of sleep. Between Aiya wetting the bed twice and me worrying about missing my alarm my sleep wasnt very restful.
But I still pressed play. This mama has some goals that she wants to achieve and completing this program is one of them.
