Last summer I went to the UK with a bunch of amazing photo, illustration and a pretty rad graphic designer. It was an experience of a life time for sure. This might be one of my top favorite images. But I have a lot of those... Currently, the fine art book we all have worked so hard on is at the press right now. It truly will be an AMAZING fine art book that will be available for purchase. It won't disappoint, I PROMISE!! @uvufineartbooks
Today I stayed up until 3am talking with old high school friends, went to the airport at 5am, flew back to the Bay Area, and started school at 10am. I love Utah and I'm so grateful for everyone back home who makes saying goodbye so hard
“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love what you are doing and learning to do.”
Even though I’m going to school with two small kids, I have loved going back to school studying what I love. Something I think is important as a mom is to find something you LOVE, and that you can benefit from. If that’s a hobby, working, or going back to school.. I think it’s so important! Being a mom to my kids and have my little photography business growing has been fulfilling in ways I could have ever imagined ❤️
I’ve been trying to think of ways to express my personality on my instagram. Rather than just lame captions. What’re some things your favorite instagrammers do that makes you love to follow/interact with them?
AZ treated me too good over the weekend!! A client flew me out to film their beautiful wedding, I made some new friends, and got to catch up with old ones!! And now I’m back with my amazing hubs all cuddled up in our tiny apartment, so life is good 💕
The other day someone mentioned I never post photos of myself on my feed, and then I remembered I hadn’t even introduced myself on here! I realize this is a photo of my bum and you probably need a magnifying glass to even see me, but it’ll have to do until I get around to some updated headshots. I’m Anna. 👋🏼 I don’t like to limit myself, but if I had to label what I do, I’d say I’m a lifestyle/product/editorial photographer who loves working with passionate people and brands. Coming home from a good shoot exhausted and happy is one of my favorite feelings in the world. I’m a big music junkie, and my car is still filled with old high school mix CD’s. I grew up in a home full of books, and love reading when I make time for it. In college I helped run a foreign film program, showing international films for free on campus. A lot of inspiration came through those films, and these days you can usually find me at the movie theater on my days off. Photography is a lot of different things for me, but mostly a way to make magic. More on that later. If I haven’t “officially met” you yet, chances are I want to! Send me a message or email and let’s shoot and/or eat chocolate cake together.
RAW EMOTION. That is what I strive to capture in my photos. Not just a pose where the two people look at the camera and smile but a photo you look at that screams - THEY LOVE EACH OTHER!! Yes in my sessions you’ll get some posed ones but the majority of the time is spent playing and loving on each other................. Leave a ❤️❤️❤️ if you agree that the best photos are “unposed.”
“The greatest act of courage is to be and own all that you are without apologies, without excuses.” I’m shooting some amazing boudoir sessions for Valentine’s Day. Hot damn! These ladies make my job so easy 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
