( story post)😃it all started when I was looking for a wrist rest in local stores that was high enough for my keyboard, I couldn't find any, so I looked on amazon, to my suprise to buy one and ship it here I'll have to spend at least 45$. mmmmm well thats not gonna happen, after looking at wrest rests ideas online I came to the conclusion that I'll have to design and make my own, tailored to exactly what I need, so I went to a woodshop not too faraway from where I live, gave him the dimensions and he made 2 for me.I painted and decorated one ( pic 2) and (pic 3 stickers) , and left the other one alone for now. after trying it for a while I figured out it was too high and too narrow and not really comfy... so I made the dimensions for another design and went back to the workshop, who made it for me within an hour, I then started asking about wood finishes, I got the info I needed and went and bought the paints needed( sealant, stain, varnish) I also got some medium sanding paper and went home, started the sanding process and applied the layers, with interval drying between each, waited until the next day, and the results were astonishing, it looked really good (pic4 and 5), shared the results with few friends, and 2 of them wanted one!, I didn't have nor the wood or the finishes to make them some. so one of them offered to bring some of the material and the other offered to just buy it once it's finished, so it's on! went back to the workshop, picked the wood type gave him the dimensions and proceeded to get more softer sandpaper for a more shiny and soft finish. headed home and started to get ready for the project (pic 6), repeating the sanding process, applying the sealants and get creative with the stains with each piece. then left them to dry over night. the next morning they were dry and looked great pic 8,9,10).😅
