I batch cooked/prepped food for the week today. It's exhausting, but worth it when I don't have to think about what to do for food for the rest of the week.
I follow a #glutenfree#grainfree#dairyfree#eggfree and #nightshadefree diet, with very little soy.
Most pictured are staples for me including #greenjuice , roasted sweet potatoes noodles, sautéed kale, @deathwishcoffee and @simplemills pumpkin muffins with added @enjoylifefoods dark chocolate chips 😛
Missing from this collage is the #glutenfree oatmeal, but I've shared that before on my IG if you'd like to see what I add to make each bowl a nutritional powerhouse.
The new kid on the block is the #vegan#macncheese I made for the first time using @minimalistbaker's recipe. It turned out soooo good. The secret ingredient is the picture in the middle. No vampires are going to bite me tonight!
I am disappointed I didn't get all my recipes done, but I know my limits. I need to rest. The offal muffins will have to wait until tomorrow.

I (obviously) loved the fact that it's cruelty free and an amazing alternative to regular toothpastes, which have all the nasty stuff we dont want in our bodies. Convinced a friend she had to go to Ichiza for her birthday dinner and it did not disappoint!!!! First pic: Fox Udon, Adobo, and a hibiscus ice tea. Avocado cucumber onion salad 🥑 🥒🥗 amazing cleansing benefits and filled with healthy fats☺️ also super easy to make. -cut up avocado 🥑 and cucumber 🥒 and onion. -put the onion and cucumber in a bowl then add lemon juice 🍋 , salt , vinegar and olive oil. Stir it and let it sit for a bit so the flavors have a chance to do their job. Smoothie love 💕 Every night after dinner we have a smoothie for "desert". I love this ritual because it definitely curbs the sweet tooth, it's fun to play around with new flavors and varieties, and...well, it's healthier than ice cream (not that an occasional ice cream is bad)! Also going to immediately share this because I love that being in Montréal means that I have access to vegan-safe grocery store perogies! 😢💖 I used to eat these way too often, and then the company changed their recipe, and there's basically only one brand I can get in Halifax that's vegan friendly, but I don't love them AND they're really expensive. And the other option is the farmers market, where a wonderful lady sells handmade perogies that are vegan friendly, but I'm never downtown on the weekends. So basically what I'm saying is I'm feeling grateful for Montréal perogies. It's a really silly struggle to have, but when you love something, you love it! Haha
