What's up everyone, I hope you're keeping vegan strong! So I have something I want to share with you, I wouldn't personally recommend anything to you I wouldn't use. If you know anything about my page you know that goes without saying. What I do is all about raising awareness for Veganism and showing the world that you can reach your goals in a cruelty free and sustainable manner. That being said l I had a vision and wanted to create a line of supplements that are 100% non-GMO and cruelty free and make them mainstream. The supplement industry is huge and most people have no idea about the cruelty it can entail, for example traditional BCAA's in some cases are comprised of duck feathers and most people have no idea. In comparison ours is made out of 100% non-GMO plant-based amino acids with no artificial colors or flavors. On top of that 10% of our profit always go to animal sanctuaries and rescues. Through the Conscious Muscle donation program we have raised thousands of dollars up to this point and have no plans on slowing down! 🌱What it is and how it works🌱 👇
No BS here, it's not a gimmick and if we don't make false promises. I believe the majority of all results to be predicated on proper nutrition and training as per your goals first and foremost. A supplement is simply that, a supplement to take in conjunction with the right menu that has a macro profile designed around your body and goals with proper training to complement it. When doing so I find this incredibly beneficial for a myriad of reasons. When it comes to the world of muscle and fitness protein is a very important part of this.
That's where BCAA's come into play. BCAA's or branch chained amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Therefore when you sip on this while you train you are able to fuel your muscles in real time for increased anaerobic endurance. Studies show they also aid in maintaining lean muscle mass when in a caloric deficit to lose body fat and have also been found beneficial when trying to gain muscle/strength.
It's not magic it just does what it's supposed to do🌱🙌👊 .
None of us emerged into this world blood-thirsty, cruel, and violent. As children we all had an incredible capacity to show compassion and kindness to animals and to each other. In fact, kindness towards animals is a huge measure our society uses to determine mental health. When children are not kind to animals, we label their lack of compassion and empathy towards the world's most vulnerable and innocent beings as problematic af! However... that childhood compassion is quickly squelched by constant messages of the status quo... telling us that it's perfectly normal, natural, and necessary to kill and eat animals. We are not born cruel... cruelty is taught to us every single day... and ignorantly passed down through generations. But we all have that childhood compassion still somewhere inside of us. Society keeps trying to suppress it, so it can remain dormant. But if you try and open your mind a little bit, you will find it! It's always been there, waiting to be liberated! Going vegan is simply just finding that compassion, that empathy, and that kindness that you already have. It's one of the most empowering decisions you can make! ☺️❤️

Throwback pics from our last meal in Tel Aviv last week. Back at our favorite restaurant! The first pic has our radish sprouts on it! Such delicious organic food in a really calm comfortable environment with really friendly warm employees. We had black rice mushroom risotto, mushroom gnocchi, a Mexican inspired dish with seitan kebabs and radish sprouts, pizza with vegan cheese and seitan, apricot pie with lotus icecream and coconut cream, sangria!! Not pictured: focaccia with zatar and yummy cheesy dip.
I mowed the lawn today and the only casualty was a croc (shoe not creature 😂). Tilly was up about 6 times last night so she's at the crazy cry / laugh stage (her ... sometimes me ) .
For dinner I made bolognese. I whizzed up 2 cans of tomatoes with 2 carrots . Finely chopped some mushrooms / garlic and onion . Gentled cooked that up - than added the tomato sauce with 2 tsp of bouillon. Half a cup of dark lentils + 1 cup of peas . Cooked until the lentils were soft (about 30mins ) served with wholewheat spaghetti and spinach . -
The smoothie is -
2 peaches 🍑/ 1 avocado/ 2 tbsps of ground almonds / 2 tbsps of mixed seeds / 1 pear 🍐/ 1 pineapple 🍍 / a punnet of strawberries 🍓. 1 kiwi 🥝. 1 glass of water 💦. Yummmmmmy ! I'm hoping to write up a recipe for the blog tonight ... and paint my nails 💅🏻. *** still time to enter my free competition too ***

The days I worry least about the width of my hips, the breadth of my shoulders, the span of the gap between my teeth. The days I don't obsess over the frizz in my hair or the scars on my face. The days I don't fret over my identity, my presentation, the huskiness of my voice, the message sent by a swish in my hips, or the perception of the prominence of any feminine and masculine characteristics I exude. Those are the days when my life comes into focus. Those are the days when the depth of my passions, the greatness of my goals, the dire need for change in our legal system, emerge as incontrovertible. Those are the days during which I feel that my purpose on earth is no more defined by my body than is my value. Those are good days, and I think it's time we all had more of them.
One way to transition to a vegan diet is to gradually reduce the meat in your diet while increasing fruits and vegetables, and it's not as hard as you think, let's check the elemental 3:
1. Increase the number of meatless meals starting by those ones you already enjoy.
2. Take your favorite recipes and try to make them without any meat.
3. Look up on the internet for more vegan menus. The more variety you bring to your vegetarian diet, the more likely you'll be to meet all your nutritional needs.

🌽This is a typical bowl I like to eat. Its super healthy and easy. I always steam my veggies, no oil needed (check out my post on @vegainstrength to read my option about oils) -
so I just take a little of filtered water and steam my veggies, with fresh made kidney beans out of the freezer (I usually cook a lot of beans and then freeze it so I have it always handy and can just throw them to my steaming veggies)
🗿also in it is tomato sauce, raw sauerkraut for those healthy lactic acid gains 💪🏼 (which are destroyed when cooking sauerkraut which unfortunately most store bought sauerkrauts are)
🍴1g wakame algae for my daily iodine intake
🏹1 tablespoon of grounded flex seeds for my daily omega 3 & smoked tofu for extra protein and because I love smoked tofu 😋
Made this delicious Golden Melon #smoothie this morning
♡Flesh of 1/2 a golden melon
♡ 2 ripe #bananas ♡ 1 mango
♡ 2 tbsp flaxseed ♡ 2 tbsp hemp seeds ♡ 4 dates
♡ then: water, plantmilk and Ice
Blend till smooth and creamy
I topped mine with frozen berries so the smoothie turned pink while I drank it,
But the berries kept clogging my straw
Still super good though #yum
Soup for breakfast? Don't mind if I do. I was just really excited to try the @spoonoptional I picked up yesterday! Organic, vegan, gluten free and made right here in the Twin Cities by one of our very own awesome female entrepreneurs! I love that they have four rotating seasonal flavors (summer lineup: Gazpacho, Super Greens, Corn Yellow Pepper, Carrot Ginger Turmeric) and I'm all about the convenience and versatility of these little health powerhouses. Sip, dip, hot, cold, eat-in, or on-the-go. Right now it looks like you can grab them at @kowalskis_markets (Uptown, Grand, Woodbury), @thewedgecoop, @lindenhillscoop, and all three @lakewindsfoodcoop. #supportlocal
I decided I was a little hungry today... I think I got carried away! Maybe a touch? 🙊!! Some yummy @drpraegers Tex-Mex burgers with @followyourheart smoked Gouda slices. #icanhazcheezburger#veganburger
