🎄ADVENT CALENDARS 🎄I've been working on these for a while now and I've been so controlled to not share what I was creating 😂 but I wanted to keep it a secret until I new it was possible and I'd done a trial run to make sure they all taste and look their best 🎄the advent calendar contains 24 different festive themed or best selling chocolates 🍫 there's 20 brand new flavours and 4 favourites! 🎄 I'm keeping the flavours a surprise until lunch time on the day! All the ingredients will be on the back of the box and available on my website though! I had a great brunch at @thelonghousecafe with the lovely @katiesnuttery yesterday! We shared the avocado toast and the scrambled tofu with garlic mushrooms and spinach (which were both really good), and I loved the plant and art-filled interior! 👌🏼💚🌿
RECIPE: SPICED PUMPKIN & QUINOA LOAF
(Gluten free, vegan)

Here is beautiful and simple recipe for anyone wanting to create a rustic gluten-free loaf full of flavour and whole food goodness. This is lovely/hearty bread alternative to serve with breakfast, afternoon snack or as a side with soup, minestrone or a lovely stew. I personally like it with some fresh avocado with olive oil, zesty lemon and fresh herbs and sprouts.
- 3 cups x quinoa (soak for 4 hrs, rinsed and strained)
- 1 cup x water (spring or filtered) - 1 cup x pumpkin (cut into 1 cm pieces)
- 1 cup x parsley (roughly chopped)
-1/4 cup x extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup x almond meal
- 1Tb each x sesame, cumin, fennel seeds (lightly toasted)
- 2 Tb x nutritional yeast flakes
- 1 1/2 tsp x sea salt
- 1 tsp x baking powder
- pumpkin fresh seeds from pumpkin (to sprinkle of top)
utensils & equipment
- baking tin lined w' baking paper or non-stick surface
- blender / bar mix
how to make
(1) lightly toasted sesame & spices in pan for 3-5 minutes until golden and aromatic..
(2) preheat oven to 200c.:
(3) blend quinoa, water, olive oil, baking powder, nutritional Yeast and almond meal into a paste.
(4) mix in all ingredients together
(except pumpkin seeds) (5)add mix to baking tin & sprinkle pumpkin seeds on top.
(6) bake for about 1 hr until firm to touch or knife comes out dry when poked into the centre.(this may take an extra 15-20 minutes depending on your oven)
(7) leave to cool slightly before slicing and enjoy fresh from the oven or serve toasted with your favourites.
This will last for about 5 days kept in an airtight container in the fridge.

About one year ago I tried a bunch of different protein brands and did not like the shakes from @begreengermany because it tastes too artificial and sweet (my opinion). But then I discovered their protein cookies (chocolate & vanilla peanut) and yes, they come in a strange plastic wrapping, but they're really good 👌

Green goddess smoothies are ultimately a way to my heart, that and avocado. You can be assured they are prominent in my everyday diet and are something I look forward to. Isn’t it crazy how taste buds change, three years ago I didn’t think I’d be having a james packed green smoothie. But it’s the honest truth, that I enjoy them so much.
