Inner beauty - What you put in your body affects what you reflect outwards
What you eat is what you are – they say.
As mentioned before, the food you consume quite literally becomes you. There is no way around this. Every single cell of your body will eventually be made up of what you put in your
mouth. It’s not easy to imagine, but I experienced this first hand that what’s in my belly will affect every aspect of my life and who I am.
I’m a charismatic person already, but since I’m vegan, that sort of got an extra boost. This boost is harmony, compassion, a genuine happiness, an inner peace that cannot be destroyed so easily and an open mind that can assess life and the people around me with more understanding and love.
There may not be a connection (although I believe there is) but back when I was eating a lot of low quality animal products, I didn’t know where my food came from or how it is made, how those animals lived and died. All I saw was a good looking hot dog, a yummy gooey cheese and I could eat them like there’s no tomorrow.
Yet, I was regularly bloated and uncomfortable, I thought my mood swings were totally normal and part of my personality (didn’t even know anything else than these random thoughts and emotions washing over me). I was struggling to find my true self as something was really not working.
A lot of people ask me how I changed after turning vegan. Normally I give a gentle and generic answer that most can understand – better skin, losing weight, way better gut, no more bloating and tons more energy.
BUT what I mention only when I see real interest and an open mind is how my inner beauty started shining through. How I’m calmer, how I ask questions before making judgments, how I listen more in order to see more. I get through my problems easier, I forgive sooner, I focus more on the good and cherish it when I find something special. You might think that a few broccolis and green juices wouldn’t do the trick, but I dare you to try.

Ok ready? ‘cause you need to be. These are classic French dishes. All #vegan 🙌🏽 at @delicesarrasin in the West Village - tartare, baked Brie, coquille St Jacques, bœuf bourguignon, crème brûlée, lavender rice pudding and chocolate 🍫 mousse all superbly executed and in the most adorable setting. Just make sure you get yourself here. A winner 🏆🥇
Konečne som dnes večer navštívila @balansbistro. Podľa ich fotografií z fcb a ponuky menu sa mi doma nejeden deň zbiehali slinky a @cojebratislava ich tiež často ospevuje, tak ma po pravde vyhecoval😀. Ospravedlňujem sa za nevábnu fotku, ale fakt som urobila jeden cvak a pustila sa nedočkavo do môjho tofu burgru. Domáca žemla bola jemná a chutná, tofu bolo výborne namarinované. Chuť krásne dotváralo krémové avokádo, čerstvé a sušené paradajky, geniálna domáca omáčka a pesto. Šalát ako side dish je veľmi dobrý nápad. Ešte, že v kuchyni došli hranolky, lebo tie by som už asi nezvládla. Moc som si pochutila a veľmi rada sa sem budem vracať. only one really good vegan spots in 300000 population big city Kosice, if i don't two other places like Govinda and one cafe which they don't offer very interesting menu.Also in the city is one low quality fast food for vegetarians.But bistro @ve.dome on Florianska street is very good and the raw desert was amazing, the espresso from dark roast beans, wad not very good.
