It's 2017 now and you really don't have to pay somebody to slaughter an innocent soul just for your convenience and appetite. Plant-based diet is the healthiest diet in all forms and is proven to reverse certain cancers and diseases!

However, the point of Vegan lifestyle is to reduce the least possible harm and I am aware that not all vegans are perfect but as long as we strongly do think that it's unnecessary and we cannot remain silent! Hubby and I are making a special bread today using timilia flour (aka tumminia in Sicilian). Timilia is an ancient, low-gluten grain that is from central-western Sicily and is being brought back thanks to forward-thinking farmers. 🥐 Vegan Crepes🥐 .
Ingredients (for about 6 crepes):
-140gr all-purpose flour
-1/2 tbsp sugar
-½ tsp salt -½ tsp baking powder
-300ml plant-based milk (soy milk, almond milk)
-2 and ½ tbsp olive oil (plus more to use for the pan)
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and bubbly, then transfer to a bowl.
Heat a large pan over medium-high heat and when hot, add a drizzle of oil and spread it evenly around the pan. Place a small amount of batter in the pan and swirl it around to completely coat the bottom with the batter. 🍓
Cook until the top is dry and the edges begin to lift off the pan. Gently slide a spatula underneath and flip the crepe; keep cooking for a couple more minutes until golden brown on both sides. 🥞
Transfer to a plate and keep warm under a towel or in a warmed oven while you make the remaining crepes, then
finish with the toppings you prefer. Buon appetito! 😋 #vegrecipeas

Last night I helped organize an event where we served traditional Swedish christmasfood but all the food was vegan! Vegan "ham", vegan "meat"balls, vegan sausage, vegan pickled "herring", beetrootsallad, vegan cheese, kalepie etc. It was a success! 😍

Can't go wrong with a creamy bowl of oats when it's -1 outside! ⛄️💕 place 1/2 cup of whole oats to soak over night in water so they are easier to cook in the morning; then place in little saucepan with cinnamon, turmeric and one shredded carrot. Cook while stirring for 5 min then top with raspberries and pumpkin seeds 🙌🏼🌟

I love USA but boy it AINT CHEAP. Even once we got there, I saw the prices of hummus and got heart palpitations lmao. BUT we managed to run around for two months comfortably (private accom etc). Delicious eggplant paste on toasts: I just cut the eggplants in half and bake them in the oven. After that I put them in the blender and add some cashews, salt, pepper, parsley, a little bit of olive oil and squeeze a few drops of lemon and I blend it until it’s creamy. 🍆💫
