Here are the finished product for the chickun cutlets! I had to taste a piece and they are purely amazing! Nothing like homemade seitan meats. Considering starting a blog for posting recipes while I explore teaching myself the art of vegan cooking, would any followers be interested? ☺️
Posting a little later than usual because I wanted to be able to say "The recipe for this curry is on the blog" ~
Unfortunately my laptop has crashed three times, I'm still waiting for it to load up as we speak.. 😡 I guess it just wasn't meant to be this time. Anyway, it's all written up and it will be on the blog tonight or tomorrow if my laptop ever comes back on 🤷🏽♀️
This has ruined my mood so I'm just going to sulk. I hope you have a better evening that I will 💖 #veganbysomi
Who's heading down to #vegfest at @kerbfood this weekend? You've got to check out our lovely friends at @eatchayclub who do some of the best #veganfood I've ever had! Their BBQ Korean Banh Mi is out of this world, and their noodle salads are perfect for a refreshing lunch, so I'm sure they're going to smash it at the festival!
Let us know what you think!
Will you go for Cloud Forest ☁️ 🌳(choc chip cookie donut w cream cheese icing, roast corn + lime) today or back to Amphawa 🌸 🚣 ? #destinationdonuts#donutthursday
If you want it later for sure, call us and we'll save one for you!
The competition is stiff but this might be my favorite @naturalgourmetinstitute meal so far. Everything is so fresh and flavorful! Grilled asparagus, oven roasted shiitakes & onions w/ tahini sauce; quinoa tabouleh, muhammarah, mujadarah, babaganoush, cashew sour cream, homemade pita, rosewater pistachio cookies.
Tried again for the cauliflower "wings" but I boiled them for too long and they got too soft! But this definitely turned out better taste-wise, though. This time, I boiled the cauliflower and used a more liquid based seasoning method instead of a "dry rub" so to speak. I mixed salsa, hot sauce, a bit of lime juice, and garlic. Then I broiled them and took them out before tossing them in a mixture of oregano and Italian seasoning. But of course, since they were soft, they fell apart when I tossed them lol. But still a work in progress, I guess 😁
