today with some awesome vegan crew did a Mon Cham loop. amazing views. even though I was grinding with 28 on the back, loved the ride and these mountains. can’t wait to explore more on a road bike! many many stunning destinations to come😌🌴
Nutrition has been probably the most important part of my quick recovery always. After surgery I made sure I was getting more than enough of everything my organism needs. Every day I start with a lot of fresh fruit, really a lot -- watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, papaya, guava, jackfruit, figs, berries, dates, bananas ... plus various mixed fruit and vegetable juices (greens, roots, aloe...) ... later in the day I might have oatmeal sometimes (made with a bit of nut milk and brown sugar) ... then lots of various fresh greens plus natto for vitamin K2 and kimchi or avocado, copious amounts of mushrooms for essential minerals and all kinds of nutritional goodness ... tempeh and edamame ... rice and noodles ... potatoes and sweet potatoes ... bit of nuts and seeds, specially sesame for bone healing (prefer sesame paste for better bioavailability). Also taken various supplements for healing, recovery and strength (B12 shots, various amino acids and herbal powders). I've made sure I'm getting more than plenty of everything necessary and in terms of strength and tissue/bone recovery it sure looks like everything is golden. I've been eating about 5000+ calories daily even after surgery when I was not training, it helps with bone and tissue recovery to have all the building materials amply available. Fitness sure seems to be coming back quickly and numbers on the bike are getting better day by day, soon should be back to where I was 3 weeks ago before the accident. Finally starting to feel really positive about things again and I can say I've made the best of the situation, as the pain is slowly subsiding and I'm starting to feel more fresh and vigorous day by day like I'm generally used to 😊
Allow the challenges you face to make you stronger. Let the people you lose give you room for more people you are aligned with. Make mistakes an opportunity to learn lifelong lessons. Produce accomplishments from all the hindrances. Let difficulty bring about people that matter the most. Make gratitude for all the little things, even for just the shoes on your feet, a habit. Don’t stop learning, loving, growing and being the source of your own happiness. You got this. ;) | Pico de Loro 2017 #happyhazelproject
place I feel the most myself. surrounded by clouds, tropical nature and mountains. looking at butterflies constantly flying around and listening to birds chirping. it’s so calming and relieving. you feel satisfaction that you got here by your own legs, not a songthaew, you reward yourself with a smoothie and allow to disconnect from everything just to enjoy.
From Philippines to Sydney 💛 So many memories in such a short period of time. Thank you for the chillax days with a side of adventure @norlyngayle 💕 #turnoffthelights 😂 Also big thank you @travelconnectph for helping me get my really last minute tickets! 😻✨
We’ve been experimenting with a new tart for a special customer. These puff pastry squares are filled with a curried parsnip purée, caramelised red onion and topped off with roasted carrot. Pretty scrummy if we do say so ourselves 🍴🥕😊
taking a rest day from cycling today, climbing up the monks trail to the temple.🧘🏼♂️🏔☀️
and I just stumbled upon this beautiful place and stayed there for almost an hour. amazing.
Goede morgen allemaal, vrijdag!
Fijne dag vandaag weer 😃
