Every time I go out to eat in Madeira the restaurants are willing to work with making something vegan. Most of the time I have no idea what I'm going to get and this evening they came out with this beautiful tasty creation 🙏
It was so hot yesterday that I had to move to work from the kitchen when it's usually a bit cooler. So summer in Germany does exist! 🤣🤣

Today we were lucky enough to get our vegetables from a local organic farm. It was refreshing to see the process of growing them and to pick them straight from the ground. It's nice to know where they come from rather than buying from a grocery store. #supportlocal ✌🏽
I tried a new vegetable called Chayote, it tasted like a watery potato and I really liked it! For the main dish I had plantains and rice with corn, black beans, bell pepper, diced tomatoes and avocado 🥑

1 tranche de seitan à poêler dans un filet d'huile d'olive avec 1 cc de sirop d'agave
Crème : mélanger & faire cuire 5 minutes au four 5 à 10cl de crème soja avec 2 càs de bière, 1 càs de vromage @nature_moi_veg, 1/2 cc de curcuma, 1/2 cc de noix de muscade, 1 pincée de poivre, 1 cc de gomasio.
Monter le croque-monsieur : 1 tranche de pain de mie (blé), 1 tranche de seitan, 1 poignée de vromage, 1 càs de crème, 1 tranche de pain et recouvrir le tout de crème.
Passer 15min au four à 180°C.
Per person :
1 slice of seitan to be fried in a fillet of olive oil with 1 tsp of agave syrup
Cream: mix and cook 5 minutes in the oven 5 to 10cl of soy cream with 2 tbsp of beer, 1 tbsp of vomage @nature_moi_veg, 1/2 cc of turmeric, 1/2 cc of nutmeg, 1 pinch of pepper, 1 cc of gomasio.
Assemble cheese sir: 1 slice of bread (wheat), 1 slice of seitan, 1 handful of cheese, 1 tbsp of cream, 1 slice of bread and cover the whole with cream.
Put 15min in the oven at 180 ° C.
