Went to my first ever #Vegan festival today and really enjoyed it. Been pondering for a while and I've come to the realisation that my vegetarian diet doesn't tally with my stance on animal welfare as much as I'd like, so I want to work on making my diet more plant-based and cut down on the dairy. I was a little apprehensive about going to a Vegan event in case it was full of those scary, shouty, preachy vegans. I was pleased to find that was not the case and there were vegans, veggies and omnivores alike welcomed to the festival, which should be the case. Loved the talk delivered by The Vegan Approach, who gave me just what I was looking for- a helpful guide to transitioning into a more plant-based diet delivered without preaching or shaming anyone for their current dietary choices. And incredibly, there was a vegan chocolate stand which sold what could possibly be the best 🍫 I've ever tasted. Mind blown. @regerburger Berlin do vegan burgers only, and they are yummy! 😋 We took one BBG burger and "cheesy" burger, with nacho chips inside. The patty is made from beans. I also love their creative packaging, it prevents the sauce from leaking out when you eat it. Follow them on FB to know where they are next. We were so full after that, we didn't try any other food on the vegan market... maybe next time!
Arroz de Tomate
Olá queridos leitores,
Hoje trago uma receita deliciosa de arroz de tomate, tenho certeza que irá adorar, experimente!
2 xícaras de arroz tipo 1
1 colher de sopa de extrato de tomate ou molho fresco
1 colher de chá de pimenta calabresa
1 colher de chá de sal
1 colher de chá de massala
2 colheres de sopa de óleo
4 xic de água
1 lata de ervilha lavada e escorrida
100gs de coentro
Lave o arroz e deixe secando.
Aqueça o óleo de girassol na panela e jogue o arroz para fritar um pouco.
Coloque a água e cozinhe, quando o arroz estiver cozido deixe ao lado e faça os temperos.
Em outra panela aqueça óleo e jogue os temperos, deixe tostando por alguns minutos até soltar o cheiro.
Acrescente o molho de tomate e as ervilhas , retire do fogo.
Em um refratário coloque o arroz e o molho misturado com temperos, mexa bem e coloque por cima o coentro.
Sirva quente com dhal e samosas.
