BUT, I bought a packet of salt and vinegar chips today. Luckily I checked the packet because it turns out there is MILK in S&V chips 🧐🧐 Who knew!?
One thing that doesn’t have milk in it however is @benandjerrysoz dairy free VEGAN ice cream 🙌🙌 -

After a hard evening of tough discussions with a lot of tears and hard decisions to take I am in for a cozy Sunday with all kind of treats (especially the fantastic carrot cake from @auntbennyberlin) and one of my favorite books by lovely @lauramalinaseiler at the moment. Sometimes all things need to come to an end to be free to create something new. Also when in the end I took the decision on my own it still hurts but it’s okay because it shows how much my heart cares.
I will take the next weeks to reflect, to focus and to start again.
However I truly believe that each and every challenge in life is in the end a learning which makes me growing and more glowing. I am grateful to have the chance to go through this and also realizing how many inspiring souls are with me. Thanks for all the support!

I would love to hear from any trainers or fitness goers who eat a plant based diet and how you manage your macros? (Ie keep crabs low but hit enough calories)... while feeling alive 😅

I received so much scepticism from people when I told them that I was going vegan! -
People tend to often get defensive of their own eating habits (which I don’t care for - if you want to eat meat, eat meat... that just ain’t my choice). -
One of the most common things people have said is that they can’t get enough protein on a plant based diet... but I don’t think people even know how much protein they even need! -
To clear that up, research shows that each individual requires roughly 0.8g of protein per kilo of body weight. -
So if you weigh 65kg, you need 52grams Of Protein per day. -
That 1-2 scoops of protein powder OR, 1 cup of lentils, OR, 1 1/4 cup of tofu, or 17 cashew nuts! -
This is also 3oz of chicken (for you meat eaters) which is less that the size of a deck of cards! -
How’s that for perception #veganprotein

I never thought I’d say this but I am thinking about experimenting in the kitchen a little more and thought I’d start sharing my favourite vegan eats 🥒🥦🥕

First home-cooked meal I've made in at least a week:^) went with some comfort food since I've physically and mentally been feeling under the weather all week. I adapted a recipe i found in my @ohsheglows cook book. This "green detox soup" consists of:
Red/yellow onion, garlic, broccoli, zucchini, carrots, cumin, turmeric, ginger, a dash of cinnamon, veggie broth, s&p, lemon juice, and a mix of greens (kale, spinach, and collards)
Recipe is simple: sauté onion and garlic in olive oil, add veggies and sauté about 5 min til soft, add the spices and sauté about 2 minutes, add veggie broth and bring to boil, then reduce to low heat and let it simmer 10-20 min. Add greens and a squeeze of lemon juice and cook about 2-3 more min.
Is it just me or does anyone else love cutting vegetables? Like i find it almost therapeutic. Just what i needed tonight 😌
🥥Activated coconut charcoal detox smoothie bowl 🥥
Blend banana, 3 dates, açaí, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, spinach, and activated charcoal. Add coconut flakes, hemp seeds, nuts and any sprouted grains for added omegas and b12 (brain food). ———————————————————————
Activated charcoal is a powdery substance made out of coconut shells. It is best used for eliminating toxins from the body. It acts as a super magnet that sucks up all the toxins in your body to its surface, cleanses your body, and then flushes all the toxins out. Wouldn’t suggest using it more than once or twice a week though 🥥
we made our own vegan slaw!!!!
• red cabbage
• red onion • carrot
• lemon juice
• homemade vegan mayo (based on the recipe from @veganrecipeclub 🥄) served here with baked sweet potato, topped with mushrooms, broccoli, sweetcorn, tomatoes and seeds. I used @ohsheglows 10 spice mix for the sauce and it worked really well!!👌💛
I have to say my day was made when I was searching through uber eats to find that GRILLED have a Vegan burger 🍔🙌 -
That teamed with sweet potato chips and #Kombucha = best Saturday night EVER 🌴😆 -

Normal unla çavdar ununu karıştırdım ( 2 sb buğday unu 1 sb çavdar unu), 1 paket kuru mayaya 1/2 paket (20gr) karbonat ekledim ve suyunu biraz bol tuttum. 150 derecede de yavaş yavaş pişirdim. Fruit juice is often perceived as healthy. That's understandable, given that it is natural and has the word "fruit" in it. However... what many people fail to realize is that fruit juice is also loaded with sugar. In fact, fruit juice contains just as much sugar and calories as a sugary soft drink... and sometimes even more. The small amounts of vitamins and antioxidants in the juice do not make up for the large amount of sugar.
Infused water can generally be any combination of fruits, vegetables, and herbs immersed in cold water. While infused water has the benefit of being full of flavour, it also has no calories, making it a very powerful tool in your efforts to lose weight and gain better health.
There is something about the beach that just soothes my sole.
It’s so relaxing, all worries vanish and it provides the best place to clear my thoughts.
