Ten ways to good health:
Less alcohol, less meat, less salt, less sugar, less eating, less words, less greed, less worry, less driving, less anger ❤️
More tea, more vegetables, more vinegar, more fruit, more chewing, more action, more giving, more sleep, more walking, more laughter ⭐️
There's always a way to add in good habits. Work on one thing at a time. 💚This morning started my day off with turmeric oats. 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 mashed banana tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp maca, 1 tbsp flax meal, 1 tsp maple syrup, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, pinch ginger, pinch turmeric, 1 1/4 cup almond milk. Stir over medium heat till right thickness. Serve and enjoy with some tea. 😋

Sweet and savoury! I’ve got some toasted bread from @littlenorthernbakehouse topped with avo, dill, red onions and S+P. And, a sweet one with PB, cinnamon, banana, chocolate-espresso drizzle and maple hemp seeds from @manitobaharvest! Happy Saturday friends!
Delicious acai bowls on the beach this morning with my love @jesswhales ❤️ basically tastes like eating ice cream for breakfast 😜🤤 (an ice cream that's cruelty free and full of amazing superfoods including acai, spirulina, and maca! ⚡️) Yum! 👅
And the antidote to frustration is a calm faith, not in your own cleverness, or in Hard toil, but in God’s guidance. The cure of frustration is the belief that God will help you obtain your heart’s desire. Trust in God with all your heart, and you will be able to keep on working in health and happiness for long years to come // Norman Vincent Peale
honestly ending the school term, I can say I gave my best effort but also realize this is not always reflected in my grades. My major is heavily science based, which isn’t naturally my strength. it can be very defeating and frustrating when your efforts are not reflected in your results, regardless if it’s grades or any other goal.
while failure can depress your spirit, I’m honestly glad that I know how it feels to fail. Without failure there is no opportunity for growth. striving for excellence despite how many times you’ve fallen is what truly dictates your success in the end . A persistent and fervent spirit will keep pursuing, until that goal is reached. I used to get extremely frustrated and discouraged when I did poorly in school, telling myself my best isn’t enough, And I can’t do anything about it. i still get upset ofc, but the magnitude and effect is much less than before. It’s human to feel discouraged from failure. But I’m growing to understand that failure doesn’t mean the end. it means a stepping stone to where I’m eventually meant to be, a chance to learn something in the process, and a challenge for me to truly put my faith in God and His divine plan for me.
Everyone is a failure at some point. Never convince yourself that you’re especially lacking, or else you may always will be.
Side note // supa excited to go home and make these kimchi pancakes :,) this one is actually store bought heh but finally have time for maself and my fud now 😭🌟

"Little Book of Veganism" spotted in @oliverbonas - I'm not a fan of interpretive, optimistic but basically unrealistic quotes like "be kind and kindness will come back to you" or "the glass is half full not half empty" or "you are you, stay true to your self" or other bullshit things I could paraphrase for hours on end, because they're not realistic. Give me a quote that actually applies to all and can ACTUALLY make a change. Semi rant over. 💭
If you wanna eat well, you must buy well! Here are a few of the things we’ll be eating this week.

Part of #lunch was this absolute BEAUT combo of smashed avo on a pumpkin seed roll 💚 literally had the yummiest day food wise and tomorrow it's gonna get EVEN BETTER because I'm going to @humblestofpleasures for birthday brunch 🎉🎈 literally my fave vegan cafe EVER so I can't wait ☺️💖
Lunch is served 🍽
Left baked sweet potato, spiced black beans and mushrooms with a side of micro greens 🌱
I just turned in my final paper and I'm a free bird, I can't believe it. One more semester 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I've been in school way too long, it's time 😂. This beautiful and nourishing lunch is the perfect way to celebrate! It's lacinato kale, @eatbanza wheels, 🥑🥑 and the most decadent creamy sauce in the 🌎. What you need: 1.5 cups raw cashews (boil for a few minutes in water to soften), 2/3 cup organic vegetable broth, 1 tsp spicy brown mustard, and sea salt / pepper to taste✨✨
