It makes no sense that sheep would suffer for wool. Think about what happens when you get stressed, whether it's from school, work, or personal issues. Your hair falls out! You get sick! You quit eating or eat "comfort foods" that are unhealthy causing your hair to be unhealthy. Sheep are no different. If the animals are happy & healthy, they grow a full, high quality fleece. After sheep are sheared, they're given coats or kept inside to stay warm. If shear men frequently draw blood, in some cases, that wool has to be cleaned using a different, more intensive (and thus more expensive) solution, & that animal has to be treated with costly medications. Livestock raisers don't only treat their animals well because it's the right thing to do, but also because it boosts productivity! ⠀
I made these turmeric spice peanut butter bliss balls for my hubby to take for a healthy afternoon snack at work 🥜😋
1 cup walnuts
3/4 cup toasted almonds
1/4 shredded coconut
3/4 cup natural peanut butter
4 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp @79_tu turmeric superspice blend (or 1 tsp turmeric)
Pinch of sea salt
1. In a food processor, blend nuts, coconut, turmeric, cinnamon and salt until course.
2. Add remaining ingredients and blend until it all comes together in a sticky mass.
3. Refrigerate for 1 hour and then roll in to balls.
Store in the fridge.

When I used to eat a vegetarian diet I had a very unhealthy relationship with food.. I restricted .. I binged.. I calorie counted.. if I was gonna treat myself I would either starve prior or work out like mad.. I had a very miserable time with eating. Once I went Vegan and learned how to eat and that I could eat way more and work out less I grew such a deep love for food. Weight dropped off of me like vegan butter.. 80 percent diet .. just cutting out dairy and eggs changed my life .. I thought I was healthy because I didn't eat meat or fish but I wasn't .. dairy and eggs was what kept me from being the best version of myself. My skin improved drastically.. my random back pains disappeared.. my hair actually began to grow.. my energy is phenomenal.. overall I look the healthiest I have ever looked. I have not gotten a cold in 2 years. My body on the outside completely transformed .. I gained muscles in places I've never seen muscle before. Going vegan you only become healthier and stronger and more beautiful than you could have imagined.
