I went to @mandalacollective for dinner a few nights ago. The food was amazing, the staff were lovely, and the vibe was perfect (live music was great). We shared cassava chips, pesto pizza, Thai pizza, and a peanut butter parfait. The stand out was the Thai pizza - a good amount of spice, and tofu on a pizza was actually SO good. A very emotional scene of a baby calf being separated from its mother, so humans can drink her milk and eat cheese. If the calf is male, he will be slaughtered and sold as veal. If female, the baby will be raised as a milk-making machine like her mother until she is so exhausted that her legs can no longer support her own weight, at which point she is slaughtered as cheap beef.
This is what you support when you purchase dairy products. You can look away, but you can never say you didn't know. Please choose compassion and begin taking steps towards going vegan. ❤

Dominick Thompson's (@domzthompson) interview is officially out on the @richroll podcast. His story is one that can only inspire you. Even knowing his story already, hearing him tell it again gives me all the feels, all over again. This man is one of the most incredible people I know and I am continuously blown away by him. Vegan twist on Mushroom stroganoff
1 pack of cooked Fettuccini - I use organic fettuccine by #deboles
1 pack of organic mushrooms sliced
1 chopped yellow onion
3-4 garlic cloves chopped
Sauté the garlic and onion for a few min. Add the mushrooms and keep on low heat for 5-7. When done set aside.
2 cups of vegetable broth (you can use vegan meat flavor as well for extra taste)
1 cup of presoaked cashews (soaked for 30 min or so)
1 tbs beef seasoning (I actually used chicken seasoning and turned out delicious)
3 tbs soy sauce- I use #tamari
1 tbs thyme
Lemon juice- 1/2 a lemon
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1/4 tsp black pepper
Blend all on med-high for 45 sec
Add 3/4 cup of the mushrooms & onions to the blend and blend on low for 5-10 sec.
Mix the fettuccine with the sauce and left mushrooms and onions. Add some chopped parsley.
