A question I am often asked about my customised Vegainz nutrition program is, do I need to be following this to an absolute T without alteration, adaption or kilter? To me that sounds like, In other words, do I give you any room to move, actually live and breathe life? Or am I going to box you in and force you to do what I say when I say it?😵👈🏼😂😂😂Dance monkey. Dance.... 🙊🐒 My answer is a firm NO, I want you to use this guide as a tool to make Vegainz, and to help you thrive on this lifestyle. My intention is not to force you into a dictatorship that squashes your life and soul and forces you into a corner. A system that creates soul reliance on one specific brick otherwise the whole house comes falling down is an unsustainable short-sighted, fail driven system in the long term. I want my guide to help you adapt, evolve, and blast the misconceptions of making Vegainz.
Life is change and life is constantly changing. It's about adapting to make the best decisions. I want my guide to empower you. Show you a way, make progress, and give you the keys to your own car. We will make constant adjustments along the way to any likes / dislikes / tastes / adaptions / biofeedback / physical changes that occur when they occur. But ultimately - I want my guide to educate you how to thrive making Vegainz. 💪🏼🐨🌿
The best days to smile and be positive are the days when that seems like the hardest thing to do!!
For me, the last two weeks have been very difficult to find the strength and motivation to be the best version of me, but, I am trying hard! Today I smiled, laughed, and felt positivity surging through me.
I wanted to write this post for all of you out there that have ever experienced anything that has caused you pain, suffering, negativity or sadness. For those of you that have felt like life is against you. For those of you that feel stuck, lost, unmotivated, or overworked…
It is okay. You are not alone. And you will overcome this. I understand it is easier said than done, but, you will overcome this. You will find the courage to break free from the negativity. You will find the courage to harness the power within and find your passion again. You will begin to surround yourself with people that are there to lift you up. You will learn and you will come back stronger.
There will be times when none of this seems possible, but, I promise, it is. I have learned that the most important thing to do is give yourself space and be patient. We are only human, meaning, it is okay to feel sad, scared, negative, or lost…it is how we deal with these emotions that makes all the difference. However long you need, make sure you take the time for yourself. You will come back with more drive, motivation, passion, enthusiasm, and energy than you ever thought was possible.
I write these words to not only inspire you but to help motivate myself. 2018 did not start the way I would have liked, so, I think I will just start over tomorrow! I will be back to 100% really soon and will be an even louder and stronger voice for the animals, humans, and the planet!
I am so grateful to have such an incredible support system. Thank you to everyone out there that has been there to listen, help me rest and recharge, sent me a message or left a comment; and thank you to all of you LIFE WARRIORS out there, taking everything life throws at you and throwing it right back! You truly inspire me.
@VeganismDaily is sorry taking off! If you care about vegan news then check it out, the support will be appreciated!
This photo is of the ocean baths in @newcastle_nsw, one of my favourite places in Australia. 😁
When your a food blogger and have to go over and edit loads of food images, when you’ve been ill the entire night 😩😷 struggling today not gunna lie, my head hurts so much. Not sure if I’ve had a bug or not? Here is a non food related photo that I can show you today, an awesome sign from @fieldsbeneath 💛 Vegans ➡️ too good! #thefieldsbeneath#vegansign#vegans
"WHAT?! That's not chicken?!"
Nope, that's @beyondmeat
So, to help out those of you who are switching over to a vegan diet or those who are already vegan and trying to bodybuild. I'm going to be sharing some easy vegan meal prep. These will include the protein substitutes! My meals generally are more whole food oriented, but these are meals I had when I first switched vegan!
This meal includes:
•1 package of beyond meat "chicken" strips
•1 cup tomato basil sauce (your choice)
•3 oz spinach pasta
•1 cup kale (not shown)
GIVE IT A SHOT!
Dropped into Aldi and bought 5 bags of Kale 😂🌳😂. My new challenge is to eat a whole bag a day. Also trying to eat another couple fistfuls/couple hundred grams of Spinach and the same again of red cabbage (on top of my usual veggies and fruits) Just trying to get over half a kilo/1 lb of greens/purps in a day. These are the most nutrient dense foods that have no ceiling to the health benefits they offer. I try to pick the majority of my daily grub from dark and highly pigmented fruit and veg. This is where all the superhero like levels of goodness can be found. Ive been dehydrating the kale at just under 100 degrees and sprinkling nutritional yeast, some coconut flakes and drizzling with a few drops of date syrup. The rest I just add to my main meal. Lovin it! Been feeling super energised from that lil bit extra over the last 2 days! Workouts have been killer! 🌱💪👌
Jumped out of bed early on my day off to get out and experience the world. Nature doin its thang and busting out some timeless beauty as always. Few hours spent walking and trying to just be present and thankful.. Few more calories in the bag for later too!😂 🌳🌞⛅🍃👌
Top 5 reasons to deadlift? - It makes you a man
- Builds a huge back
- Develops hulk-like grip strength
- Makes you better at any sport
- Gives you insane core strength
I'm not sure why but I used to hate training back. I really found it boring and I especially hated the deadlift!
Tonight I think I fell in love with the deadlift......i haven't deadlifted this kind of weight for over a year and although this wasn't a PB, it was the heaviest weight I used to be able to lift and I could only manage for 1 rep. 140Kg felt quite light and I could definitely have gone up a set but didn't want to push it. Next back day I will be focussing on hitting at least the 150Kg mark and possibly go for 160Kg.
An amazing photo caught in action with @daisybellesparkles ❤️ honestly love this girl so much. Only met her in November at the @vevolution_ after party and once I saw her at the @wickedhealthy event it was like seeing an old friend! It’s weird sometimes when you meet strangers and get along so well. If she wasn’t there I would have probably spent most of the time not socialising or hiding in the corner. What a positive and hardworking soul she is! She runs the marketing and social media for @weareveganuary and she’s doing a blinking good job of it 👊🏻🌱❤️ #veganuary#wickedhealthy#wickedkitchen#selfielight#vevolution 📸 @christophershoebridge
Other than proving to your betches that you truly do eat healthy fats, you should never pay $12 for avocado toast. Make it at home and it should cost you roughly $1. This bad boy has avo, black pepper, paprika, hemp seeds & sriracha over @daveskillerbread. I definitely wonder if this will taste as good once it stops being trendy.
Went for a jog and needed some natural sugar. So an almond milk smoothie packed with bananas, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries topped with cinnamon gave me that needed rush to get my day going!
Day 2: Booty day!!! Even guys want those firm tight glutes!!! If they tell you otherwise, they be lying!! Lol. 😂😂 It’s all about that band life!! Your butt gets forgotten but you need to tone it up if you want to run faster, stabilize yourself or just you know.. whatever!! I know that usually it’s about legs, arms and stomach. But your butt is important!! Sooo I gotta get up.. off my butt and get on with my day!! Only 60 minutes y’all!! That’s a Netflix show! So firm butt or Netflix butt.. i dunno.. your choice!! Summer is a comin!! Lol
I am gonna be sore tomorrow but at least I know why.. not from all that Netflix!! Lol.
I get it, when people look at this picture they probably think it’s just a big wall of gainz with Vegan graffiti written all over it. Alas it is not, it’s just me, it’s just my back. just standing & waiting for this vegan protein deficiency to finish me off....... all of the meathead bro science dude guys were right, they told me after going vegan I would wither away and here I am four years later almost too small to capture on camera..... J/K you get all the protein you need from a vegan diet and then some, “do you even research bro”😁🌱💪🦍➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖

Too many legends in one photo! I’m so thankful to have met the most amazing people leading the Vegan movement right now, event organisers @vevolution_ @damienclarkson @judyenadel and the man himself @kingcookdaily normalising veganism and showing different cultures that it is cool and healthy to be vegan. Destroying stereotypes and bringing people together so we can all support one another. I’m thankful that I can be a part of this coming all the way from the countryside in Wales 🏴 it’s overwhelming 🙏🏻✨#nobloodnobones @wagamama_uk #wagamama#cookmama#cookdaily#vevolution#cookdailylondon#feedherveganfood#veganfoodblogger#veganblogger @cookdailylondon
Does anyone else wear gym gear 95% of their free time? I find that if I had a day off, I'm probably going to the gym at some point, so I just rock the gym tights and singlet all day 😂 here's a rare sighting of me in casual clothes, enjoy 👍🏻
