We've had the Aussie flu in our house 🤒😷 started with me last wkend, then 2 of the kids, now my fella has it. On top of that I've had attack of the migraines 😫 so my appetite has been all over. Not been motivated to eat anything never mind cook. Then anything I've fancied eating has tasted weird once I've made it 😒 here's a pic of the one thing I've been able to stomach and enjoy. Mango, papaya, pineapple, ginger and apple smoothie. Aldi frozen smoothie mix obvs (which I've found to be the nicest smoothie mixes). There's no way I could be arsed chopping all those fruits up. sooo today we tried the #impossibleburger for the first time. we're both huge fans of the beyond burger (like, we always have some in our fridge) and we both can honestly say the impossible burger wins 100x over. it isn't too salty or greasy; generally it's miles healthier than the beyond burger. andrew said it tasted identical to a five guys burger, which were his favorite before going vegetarian. seriously guys... this shit is revolutionary. #veganiseasy 😃🍔✨❤️ #noanimalsharmed#vegan#whatveganseat#impossiblefoods#wahlburgers
Today was a really great day. As you could see in the stories I met my soulmate @natsu_ookami and we spent our time talking about important and meaningful stuff I just can’t talk about with other people, going to the job fair in #Karlsruhe in the morning and eating some delicious pizza (at least my pizza was good) at #lincontrokarlsruhe .
I had a pizza with vegan mozzarella, courgettes/zucchini, eggplant and dried tomatoes. It was good! But that’s it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
His pizza wasn’t that good unfortunately and the service was very bad. First of all, he has been “forced” to order something to drink (pizza would have been way more expensive if he didn’t) and then there was a dog running on TOP of the tables which weren’t cleaned afterwards.
Don’t get me wrong, as a vegan you should be at ease with animals - but this dog just ran around the tables and wasn’t very clean as well 🙃 It was just annoying. After asking the waiter, we heard he belongs to the restaurant and he didn’t listen to any of the staff. This was my first awkward experience where I really couldn’t relax among animals 🙈🙈I know it’s the owner who should be acting more responsibly but it was definitely weird. So if you think I’m a bad vegan or not compassionate enough , go ahead but I think that some standards have to be kept! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So considering the circumstances I’d rate it as an average restaurant due to the bad service. I’ve definitely had better! At least they have a full vegan menu (separately available) It would be great if they could fix this because it’s nice that they offer plant-based food! You just can’t treat customer like that. Sorry.
A kombucha a day keeps the doctor away🍻😋 I try to consume some form of probiotics every day (sauerkraut, kombucha, pickled veggies, etc.) I’ve found that since putting more of an emphasis on probiotics, I’ve gotten sick a lot less and I feel stronger & more energized in general. Some other benefits of probiotics include improving digestion, reducing the severity of some allergies, and promoting a healthy heart.

I want to respect myself and treat my body well. Therefore I choose to eat food that tastes amazing and satisfies my taste buds and is healthy at the same time - hence, satisfies my cells.
I want to workout because I love my body, not because I hate it. I want to be my own best friend. And I'm on my way to get there! ❤

I basically just blended avos🥑, cacao🍫 & agave 🍯 in my highspeed blender and added some sea salt and vanilla - You could also add peanut butter, coconut flakes or cinnamon into the mixtures - so simple, yummy and full of healthy fats🥑🙌🏻 #veganiseasy

I made these chewy double chocolate vegan cookies my first time using chia seeds as egg replacement and two days later they still taste fresh out of the oven🤤 I mealed down 1 tablespoon chia seeds with a mortar and pestle and mixed it in a small bowl with 3 tablespoons of water then let it soak until gummy, about 10 minutes, while getting the rest of the mise en place✨
1 stick (8tablespoons) earth fare plant based butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 Tb. Chia seeds presoaked
1/4 cup almond milk(any plant based will work)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup cocoa powder
2 cups all purpose flour
Lots of chocolate chips 🤗
Start by creaming the sugars and butter until fluffy while you sift together the dry ingredients(set aside). Scrape the sides and add the vanilla and the soaked chia seeds. Mix until incorporated,batter will be sticky. In intervals, add the dry ingredients and milk until just incorporated then add 3/4 cup of chocolate chips. Do not overmix! Dough will be sticky so I used parchment lined cookie sheets and scooped about a tablespoon of batter leaving plenty of space for spreading.
