I've been kind of quiet on this account, but I've decided that becoming vegan is something I really want to pursue. Today I'm starting a 6 week (to start) full jump into veganism. This is my before photos, I want to track the healthy changes to my body. Don't get me wrong I love my body as is but I can always improve and build muscle. Honestly, I had super low expectations for this vegan cheese buuuuuuuuuut maaaaaaaaan was I sure in for a pleasant surprise! I made a grilled cheese sandwich & it was probably one of the best grilled cheeses I've ever had👌🍞🧀

Being able to ingest essential oils is important to me- therefore purity is important! Not all essential oils are created equally. Beware of those you buy from just any ole store. Also take note and read the labels before using to ensure they are safe to apply on your skin, and NEVER ingest any other brand besides #youngliving , which is currently the ONLY essential oil considered a supplement safe for ingestion. 😀
The first backyard garden pineapple!!! You can do this! Cut the top off of a pineapple, put in moist soil, and wait! Keep doing it, and eventually you'll have a rotation of ripe pineapples!! 😍 #growyourownfood
Stayed on track even when out today!! Wooohooo! 😀 Breakfast this morning was on point 😀. Had a veggie omelet with cheese and some fruit. I was so proud of myself for not getting any homefries or bread, or any of the other starchy foods the restaurant had 😀. #Progress

I am a Vegan Medical Doctor. (NB : i do not know it all and all advice & criticism is appreciated)
Decided to share my story just in case someone else might relate.
I went vegan in April 2016 and it was purely for personal reasons. I initially did not make the decision to protect animals.
My main aims were #healthybody !
I never liked the sight of soo many ingredients at the back of food parcels. I found the #foodindustry to be very profit driven and incorporates alot of 'toxins' into the 'food'. .
I also went vegan to gain self control. I felt like i am very impulsive and whatever i want or crave, i MUST get.
Not just in food but in general life, i could not have adequate self control.
I decided on a strict diet as to create bounderies and gain control.
I have however always had a bad relationship with food. Throughout Medical school my food was junk! It was more easily available and cheaper.
I however went in and out of the lifestyle.
I am to share how i have managed to get back and stay #vegan .
The truth is, #Veganism makes the world and body a better place.
Being a Doctor, i certify people dead on a daily, with many of them dying from lifestyle diseases that could have been prevented. #Plantbased diet is proven to be healthier.
There are other healthy eating habits, eat like you love yourself.

Two ripe mangos
One scoop tropical strawberry superfoods powder
One cup of water
Splash of unsweetened almond or coconut milk

Happy Saturday! On the way "up the road" and didn't have time to make juices for today so I picked up some juices, kale chips, fruits for the journey. There are many more options then it was before, so there's no more excuses to create a healthier life. 🥑🍍🍇🍉🍓🍊🌱
Overnight oats served in bed ❤️
3/4 cup rolled oats
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
1/2 an apple cut up
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 cup almond milk
Shake those together and leave overnight and you've got an easy breakfast in the morning 😘
Changed my room around and am already loving just sitting in bed looking out the window 🌅 I find that since transitioning to #veganism I wake up so much earlier and feel so refreshed. I used to be the worst sleeper ever, would get 2-3 hours a night on and off 😴 now I fall asleep around 10.30 and wake up around 6.30-7 and I LOVE IT 🙌🏼 and I immediately noticed that when I was struggling last week (eating rubbish and not making sure every single thing was vegan) my sleep suffered straight away. Like straight back to where I was. Crazy. Just shows that being #vegan changes so many aspects of your life 🌱 #veganrant#veganpros#govegan#bevegan
