#MealPrepMonday Going on my 4th week being vegan. Simple vegan prep (left) is quinoa mixed with red beans, sweet potato, red onion, corn, red bell peppers, and cilantro with a side of mixed greens. Same for the hubby meal prep, I just added baked garlic chicken. #stayingveganstrong
Since going mostly plant based i feel so hungry ALL the time!!! I don't know if its that in combination with breastfeeding but #gimmeallthefood . I don't work out much yet either cause I'm trying to find a happy spot with calories while not losing my supply. I feel like i need the "heaviness" of meat if that makes sense, but i know that i don't. It could all be in my head since this is a new way of eating and my body is like WOAH! So imma keep on keeping on!
So I literally been finding myself daydreaming about eating a cheeseburger. I blame commercials and billboards! I remember tasting needs in Whole Foods when I first started to question meat. My husband & I looked at each other with the side eye 😒🤔 and said there has to be something wrong with this because it tastes too real and too good.
I made one with cheese and honestly the one without was way better. (Yes both were for me!) If you're someone who absolutely need the taste and feel of burgers I'd recommend these. However, I can't lie I still give these the 🤔 side eye because it's processed and I still don't trust foods like this anymore. But if I ever find myself headed towards 5 Guys while sleep walking I'll opt for one of these. Just not on a regular bases. They are 100% vegan

Well it's official guys, I FINALLY hit my goal of size 12. 6 months, 64 pounds, 5 pant sizes. It's possible, it could be done. Hard work, dedication, keeping myself inspired; there's been tears, there's been "I can't do this", days where I didn't even want to get up in the morning. I stuck to my goals, hit my calories daily, and made the effort to walk 5 miles everyday. Honestly it's the best feeling getting to wear all my old clothes again, or buying new clothes and not having to worry if it's going to be too tight. I'm so excited having reached my first goal!!! Giving myself mental and physical strength through every workout. I will push through anything I am so so powerful. One day at a time and it is all so possible. You just have to believe in yourself really really believe in YOUrself every single day. It may not always be easy, but remember that it is always worth it remember that more than anything you are worth it and you are beautiful. Lunch at the Atlanta airport yesterday was actually pretty darn good. We found a taco spot that has #vegantacos on the menu - no messing with ingredients or anything! Day 21 ✅ THREE WEEKS 🎉 I'm honestly surprised how quickly it's gone! I won't go into full detail right now about the changes I'm experiencing (cause that would take forever!) one the main things I struggled with before I started this was RELENTLESS HUNGER 👹 I'm talking never being satisfied no matter how much or what I ate. I would be in a full rage and in tears most of the time. It consumed my life. And now...it's GONE 😳 poof that's it! I'm free. I must admit it's making me feel really powerful to have this control now💪🏼👊🏼. More updates later 😊. Can we talk about this buddha bowl!!!!! My first one ever and my my it's a new favourite. Doing outreach at the cube of truth this past week in Portland. I honestly was just there to experience it and take photos, I had not intended to talk to anyone but standing there listening to someone talk as if animals are not someones and do not have the basic right to their own lives got me needing to speak up. I know it looks like I am shaming this dude but we actually had a decent talk and it ended with him asking which vegan restaurant to go to. This was one of the best activism experiences I have had and think it is a great form for even the most anxiety ridden person to do (holding a monitor/laptop I mean). 📷@unparalleled_suffering
