Ran out of sweet and sour sauce halfway through applying them so now it became sweet and sour versus general zhao sauce battle for my late night snack. Did better with the batter coating this time with applying more of ginger and soy sauce this time around for more of that asian cuisine. No chicken was harmed. The cauliflower on the other hand didn't make it out as well. 😜😋🍚☯️
So yeah I haven't posted in forever...😒 I've taken some food pics here and there and I've just been too busy or tired to do any makeup looks. I didn't wanna post food without makeup but I'm not sure when I'll do another makeup look so I might just start posting my food pics.

Day 19 ✅ supper was so fun tonight!!!!! Loaded nachos 💃🏽!!!! Brandon and I loved them 👌🏼. I used blue corn and flax tortilla chips and topped them with....roasted broccoli and cauliflower, sautéed yellow peppers, onions, garlic, spinach and black beans, taco seasoned tofu, salsa, avocado and homemade vegan cheese sauce 🤤 awesome treat for a Saturday night! #vegan#plantbased#veganwannabe#veganjourney#veganmeals#vegannachos#awesomefood
Fun #meatless option that is super quick to whip. Spinach, Guac, black beans, tofu (with turmeric) topped with nutritional yeast. 1 peace of organic, all natural 9 grain (ancient grains) toast. -
The best part about eating clean for me? Meals can be super flexible! Don't be afraid to cook things separately and mix and match throughout the week. I love putting new creations but throwing "leftovers" together in a skillet. (Pan heated leftovers taste so much better and are healthier than alternative of microwaving.) This was a post workout meal (cardio and abs mostly, so low carb.). -

I eat approx 0.8 g of carb per kg of body weight and 0.4 g of protein per kg of body weight. I don't measure, I am mindful of my portions. I learned, through consistency and repetition what was "enough" for me. These totals give me a lower carb (less insulin production and storage) and higher protein (for lean muscles). -

Spaghetti squash with a tofu tomato sauce for supper tonight! This is one of my favorite meals lately, and it's super filling and healthy🌱
Bake spaghetti squash for 40 mins at 375 degrees C. For the sauce, stir fry onions and tofu in some olive oil for about 5 mins until the tofu starts getting a bit brown. Then add in zucchini shreds, bell pepper, and chickpeas! Mix in some spaghetti sauce and cook for another 5 mins or so. Then add the sauce on top of the baked spaghetti squash. Sometimes I sprinkle some nutritional yeast on top too😊
