Here is the recipe for the meatless beef.
What you need: - 250 gr of gluten - 4 teaspoon of tomato pure - soy sauce (1 tablespoon for recipe and as necessary to marinate it) * healthy tip, try to use less soy sauce can replace it with coconut aminos ;) it has less sodium - garlic powder 1 tablespoon for meat and 2 tablespoons for the marinate - smoke paprika 2 teaspoons - 500 ml vegetable broth - 1small cut onion - Olive oil ( as necessary to sauté the meat)
Let’s start! - Mix the gluten, the tomato pure, the soy sauce, the garlic powder and the smoked paprika in a bowl - Add 200 ml of the veggie broth and mix until you have a dough, no more than 2 minutes ( it’s not going to be a perfect dough, that’s the magic of gluten and what it gives that meaty consistency) - In a cooking pot put the rest of the broth with the onion. - Divide the dough in 5 small burgers or the shape you want and put inside the cooking pot with the broth ( cook for 30 min) * Important! Simmer it, do not overdo it. - Once the meat is ready let it cold and in another boll, mix the soy sauce and the garlic powder. - Marinate the meat inside this mix. Just a little bit, but be sure it covers all. ( I cut the meat in half so the sauce reach all the meat) - And finally, heat the olive oil and fry until it get that crunchy and roasted color ( yeah this will give it more fat, but let’s accept it, meat has fat! So I recommend to do this if you want the beef consistency.
This recipe will take you less than an hour, it is extremely easy to make. This meat will give you a lot of proteins and that confort fatty nice flavor. As it is made from gluten it is not the healthiest thing, but everything in moderation will be alright. 🌝 As you will notice, you can use this meat for a lot of different recipes!
