Experimenting with different Nori rolls, with Layla's help 💕 This one was Nori, hummus, brown rice, cucumber, carrots, parsley, avocado and sauerkraut. Quite delicious! 💕What's your favorite Nori Roll???
Red Lentil Chili 😍 started by cooking 1 cup dry red lentils with 2 1/2 cups of water.. drained off any extra water. Then stirred in 1 cup ground walnuts. Added a little garlic, onion powder, basil, oregano, salt and pepper to this mixture. Might be kinda soupy, but that's okay! It's just going to get dumped into the chili.
While the lentils cooked, I chopped 3 sweet potatoes and boiled them( in a cup or 2 of vegetable broth) in a large pot. Then added the following to the pot: 2 cans kidney beans (drained and rinsed) 1 can black beans (drained and rinsed), 28 oz can of chopped tomatoes, 2 cans tomato sauce, 1 can tomato paste (if you want to thicken it more) and added some garlic powder, onion powder, a little cumin, couple tablespoons of nutritional yeast and then stirred in the lentils. Let it simmer for maybe 10-15 min on low just for the flavors to blend. Done! 😍
Served with some Black Bean tortilla chips and fresh avocado. 🥑🥑🥑 #PLANTLOVE#whatveganseat#wholefood#WFPB#plantbased#beans#tomatoes#organic#whatthehealth#veganmom#vegankids#veganmovement#vegan#chili#veganchili#redlentils#avocado#healthylifestyle#healthyfood#sweetpotato#vegetarian #
Sunday 1/28 in Trenton, there will be outreach happening. Find more info on @njanimalsavemovement's Facebook or find the event on www.veganinnj.com under "events". #repost via @instarepost20 from @njanimalsavemovement 🚨 event Sunday 1/28 🚨 this is a transport truck that comes into a neighborhood to drops off live beautiful animals in the morning to a slaughterhouse located smack in the middle of residential homes. While we were trying to figure out when and what time the trucks are coming so we can bear witness in the future - the doors closed to the slaughterhouse and the smell of blood and death took over the entire street. Body parts of sentient beings were thrown out in the trash. The animals need you Sunday 1/28 to talk to local residents - we need to tell them about what’s going on behind closed doors, right under their noses and why it’s so important to bear witness. Please join us as we engage in peaceful outreach for the animals 1/28 at 1pm in Trenton. Message for details. #activisim#vegan#vegansofig#savemovement#newjersey#newjerseyvegan#animaladvocate#animalrights#veganfortheanimals#compassionoverkilling#mercyforanimals#compassion#loveallbeings#lovebased#veganmovement
Our next date for @adishamanimalsave is going to be Monday the 12th of February.
Please bring along bucketfuls of positive energy and plenty of layers, we were unable to bear witness to any animals heading to slaughter last time and are still in the very early stages of establishing a relationship with the slaughterhouse.
J. R. Farm Meats is less than a four minute walk from Adisham train station, with trains running regularly to and from London and Canterbury.

This is the best yoga matt I’ve ever used. I definitely recommend it for everyone. Yes, it’s a bit pricey although it’s worth it and I don’t see myself buying another matt for a VERY long time. 🤸♀️🧘🏾♀️
STIR FWWWY 🤟🏾🥕🥦🌽🌶 so I made a Thai chilli and basil stir fry and it was pretty good 😎 and only took 15 mins 💁🏾♀️ - sure you all know how to make a stir fry but I’ll put what I had in mine... chop and fry onion, garlic, pepper, chillies, broccoli, carrot, ginger, edamame beans, courgette, kale and mushrooms (i actually forgot mushrooms in mine I was so sad 😭). Add cooked noodles of choice, add soy, chopped fresh basil and a squeeze of sweet chilli sauce. At the end I chopped spring onion and mixed it throughout the meal. Tadaaaaa
Meet the wonderful @bravefoods who are speakers at our exciting Vevolution Topics: Entrepreneurs event in March. There lovely mini story is below 💚
#repost Oh hai! We haven’t been properly introduced. We’re Amber and Seb and we’re the founders of BRAVE.
A little over a year ago, we were young (still are?) and had that crazy urge to make a difference in some way, even if only a small one. We had been plant-based for 8 years at the time (still are) and food had become an important part of our life. It hadn’t always been. It’s funny how something as vital as food can become so disconnected from our daily existence.
We believed (still do) that food has the power to change lives: eating healthy can mean the difference between life or death. Sustainable farming can mean the difference between a clean, beautiful planet, and one that’s overrun with pollution and choking in methane. And we wanted to play a part in giving people a reason to reconnect with good locally grown food, plants and delicious flavours.
In July we launched our roasted peas and have been overwhelmed by the positive response we’ve seen. We’re only just getting started, but the future is definitely looking BRAVE! ✨ (Tickets for all Vevolution Topic events in bio)

Are you the financier of abattoirs? Each day over 4,200pigs, cows and goats are sent to three abattoirs in Hong Kong secretly. The first sunlight the animal saw was the time that failed to freeze. Including the imported meat, more than millions animals are consumed every year. Stop and gaze at your pets, imagine they are packed in a cold truck and are heading to an unknown place which someone armed with sharp knives are there for them. Animals just want to live, to be loved. Join our Jan vigil, make connection and re-choose. If you are interested, feel free to dm us or leave a comment!
On Saturday, we stood outside Creams in Finsbury Park for five hours as a voice for all of the lost faces and unheard screams buried by the dairy industry. Some pretty productive conversations were had and the public seemed to take quite an interest in what we were doing, we also managed to make some of the customers a bit uncomfortable in what they were doing and a couple of people actually changed their minds about going inside.

FRIENDS, NOT FOOD.
🐑 Sheep visibly express their emotions.
🐑 Sheep react to facial expressions, and just like humans, they prefer a smile to a grimace.
🐑 Playful and puppy-like, sheep often wag their tails when they're petted and affectionately nuzzle humans to get their attention.
🐑 Possessing a sharp sense of individuality, sheep can recognize and remember up to 50 faces for up to two years.
🐑 Sheep think about others who are absent.
🐑 A split in their upper lip helps sheep pick leaves off plants.
Why would anyone eat these beautiful babies, or steal their wool, treating them as machines that produce a material we can easily do without. There are so many other alternatives that don't include torturing, enslaving and killing these animals. #govegan#vegan#veganactivism#veganmovement#animalrights#animalequality#vegansofig#sheep#animals#veganism#veganactivist#animalliberation#untileverycageisempty#antispeciesism

YOU are your #1 investment. Nothing will bring in a more substantial ROI than what you invest in YOU every single day. The daily deposits you put into yourself & the habits you create around them ultimately determine the quality of life you live. 🌱
If you deposit fast-food, soda, sugar, & alcohol on a daily/weekly basis, then the ROI (return on investment) will be obesity, disease, fatigue, high blood pressure/cholesterol, aging, etc. However, if you deposit lots of fruits, veggies, leafy greens, beans, legumes, drink lots of water, sleep 7-8 hours, meditate, & exercise daily, then your ROI will be tons of energy, clear skin, low body fat, extreme mental clarity, great sleep, better sex, peace of mind, etc.
If you deposit TV, the News, “reality” TV drama shit, commercials, & other mindless nonsense, then your ROI will be fear, anxiety, boredom, depression, & a lack of meaning and purpose. However, if your depositing books, podcasts, inspirational videos, documentaries, seminars, workshops, personal coaching, etc. then your ROI will be starting new business’, making more money, making new friends & connections, reaching your goals, and ultimately developing into a better version of yourself.
This could go on forever. The fact is that there is NOTHING more important than the time and energy you invest into yourself. Period. Your life today is a direct result of the tiny incremental habits you’ve been doing on a daily basis. So, if you want a different tomorrow, change what you do TODAY.✌🏻
