10/4/2016 brunch: Last meal in Prague and it was the best for sure! We ate at a little vegan and semi-raw cafe called Plevel. The raw lasagne was my favorite dish in Prague and I felt it could have passed at a vegan restaurant back home. We also got a veggie stuffed potato pancake which wasn't the greatest but wasn't bad and I was just sooo happy to taste some flavors again 😋 We started joking that all of the food in Prague was white and that onions were the main ingredient in every dish. "White with onions." This restaurant is definitely recommended though! Now, off to the train to Berlin! Can't wait to see what the #1 vegan city in the world has to offer! 😁
10/3/2016 dinner: Loving Hut in Prague. This vegan restaurant has locations all over the world and every location has a different menu. I did not love the food at this location. The rice noodle soup was a bit strange with pineapple in it and iceberg lettuce on top. The noodles also reminded me much more of spaghetti than Asian noodles. The fried fish-substitute was actually very good...it was fried perfectly 👌🏿 However I found it odd that it was served with rice and I also didn't care for the overpowering dill. I probably would not go back to this location but I will continue to try their food in other cities.
10/3/2016 lunch: Just happened to stumble upon a vegan buffet while walking the streets of Prague (Country Kitchen, attached to a small vegetarian market). Gotta love that!!! It was pay by weight once again (not a good model for me lol...this girl needs all-you-can-eat) however because it's Prague, these two heaping plates of food cost only $10 total! 😱 I was very happy to be eating this nutritious meal however I was shocked at how bland it was. How could a plate this colorful have such little flavor? Quite surprising. I suspect the palate here in Czech Republic is much more muted than what I am accustomed to because the Afghani food was also under-spiced. Again though, I was very grateful to come upon this restaurant and if given the chance I would eat here again.
