My favourite pasta combo that I accidently made one day when having tomato paste and dipping carrots into hummus- i dropped the dallop of hummus on my carrot stick into my pasta but I was like hey this could kind of taste good…. And behold a combination I have fallen in love with. I have also fallen in love with @gogoquinoa’s new super grains fuseli pasta that they have just came out with!! (For you Canadians, you can buy a huge bag of it at Costco!!) I love the texture of this pasta, nice and firm with no strange taste + it’s made of all organic ingredients: sorghum flour, white quinoa flour, amaranth flour, chia flour. Ok, this was actually saved for a easy meal prep recipe video but it’s okay I’m too excited cause its so easy to make aka make it now!! Here’s what you’ll need: 
2.5c of @gogoquinoa pasta (3 servings)
1 jar of your favourite pasta sauce
½ c hummus
½ c of TVP (soaked with ½ c of pasta water)
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
½ cup cooked @gogoquinoa quinoa. 
½ c of mixed veggies (I LOVE PEAS AND CORN AND CARROTS IN PASTA!! I’m v passionate about my pasta veggies)
Boil up some water, add the pasta and cook for 9 minutes for an Al Dente texture while stirring occasionally. Drain and rinse with cold water. For the sauce, in the same pot as the pasta (assuming the pasta is off to the side), on med-high heat pour in the tomato sauce, add in the hummus and let it kind of bubble- and once it does mix it so it doesnt burn. Then now is a good time to add the frozen veg, TVP and quinoa. Let it all heat up and then add in the pasta. Ya thats it- anyone can make this plz try it YAY!!

➡️ I've been working on transitioning to the #vegan thing for a week now. The 2 things I'm struggling with are 1️⃣ getting too much fiber (like 2x the amount I need 😳) , & 2️⃣ not enough protein.
And today, @kimhoeltje posted a giveaway she is doing for @nocow - so I checked them out & decided to also try their fluffbutter which is #glutenfreevegan with 5.5g protein per tbsp🤗. It's delicious too! (I got the vanilla maple 🍁 frosting flavor) I don't think it will solve all my #macroprobs 💁🏼, but it should help😄
I used the fluff butter to make a peanut sauce for my roasted veg 🌱⬇️

Etwas aus der Kategorie Lieblingsessen: Chili sin Carne! Optisch definitiv keine Hingucker, aaaber schmeckt immer und man kann es ideal vorkochen (auch einfrieren) und hat mehrmals etwas davon. Praktisch, oder?🤗😏
Hier habe ich Sojaschnetzel als "Hack" verwendet, man kann aber auch Pilze anbraten oder/Linsen. Oder nur ein gemüsiges Chili und dazu ein Brötchen oder Reis. Durch einige Versuche mit Chili (beim ersten Test vor ein paar Jahren brauchte ich nachher eine neue Pfanne 😌🤦) habe ich mir ein paar kleine "Würz-tricks" gemerkt: 
1. Kümmel! ❣️
2. Für etwas "Rauchigkeit" der ganzen Mischung einen schwarzen Kaffee dazugeben. Einfach mal probieren 😉
3. Kaffee und ein Stück schwarze bittere Schokolade geben dem ganzen einen meega Geschmack. I haven’t had juices in so long but @elxrjuicelab was super kind enough to send me 5 bottles of their juice along with two super cute juice shots to try out and wow it made me realize how much I want to start juicing again because i felt so much more woke the past couple of days!! Maybe it’s placebo cause i feel more #health or maybe its because the nutrients are more easily absorbed (drank them first thing in the morning!) but as long as I’m feeling good right 🙆🏻 @elxrjuicelab is a new juice store in yorkville (super boujee area 😉) and I seriously loved all the juices! This one was probably one of my favs, the beet flavour came through but not super earthy tasting like most! What your favourite juice recipe? I’m ready to bust out my juicer!!

They keep coming back....I enjoy picking weeds in my pass time & putting them in glasses of water in the corner of my room. Maybe It's their resistant nature or the fact that their beauty's regularly dismissed much like the ones we leave behind.

WHO ELSE LOVES SUSHI?! I bet some of you are like what is that gooey looking bean in there- it’s NATTO! Ant is a traditional japanese fermented soy bean and so nutritious and good for you! You can find them at your asian markets, but its very much like durian. It has an odd odour, but the taste is very acquired. At first, you might hate it (I did!!) but after the third time i got hooked!! Also, don’t use the little dressing inside the packs, its fish based but instead add some sesame oil and soy sauce and the hot mustard and eat it on top of rice 😊 Warning** You might hate me or love me after you try this

I didn't want to add TOO much to it, cuz I wanted to get a true idea of the taste and texture. As controversial as this may be here is my verdict: this looks and tastes like a beef burger 💯. (Swipe and drool 😏). I took a @foodforlifebaking Ezekiel sprouted bun and piled on some fresh, homemade guac and a tangle of @farmhouseculture garlic dill pickle Kraut 💚💚💚. <mic drop 🎤🤘🏻>. And obv can't do it without the cereal and granola 👅 what's your favourite smoothie bowl or banana icecream bowl combo? 🙆🏻 and on a side note I made two fries up there to the left is riggie to the right is  linardo 😚

Soy jackfruit sandwiches with home made BBQ sauce 😋 I see a lot of jackfruit pulled pork sandwiches, and to be quiet honest the texture to me doesn’t resemble meat- but adding some soy curls defiantly adds some chewy-nesss and makes the sandwich much more satisfying not to mention to extra protein it gives! I love to prep this in the beginning of the week so I can have sandwiches throughout the week and also is super yum with rice and veggies 👌🏻

Mango smoothie bow: 2 cups mango, 3 frozen bananas, 1 cup soft tofu, 1 tsp vanilla powder and 2 tsp of maca (bless your hormones!) and topped off with sriacha coconut flakes, puffed wheat, cherries (so cheap and good right now bless cherry gods) and 🍌✨ I love mangoes but sometimes they stress me out because i open one thinking its going to bomb cause its really ripe looking outside and then i bite into and it tastes like watered down cheap mango juice and i begin to cry because that mango costed me like a dollar aka 8 minutes of working or something HAHA but happy sunday its a beautiful day outside so totally going to try and take advantage of it and stroll outside 😎 (also notice the change of spoon guys I’m not cheating on my long spoons promise)

Jackfruit BBQ sandwich and a vegan burger from @blossomdujour 😍 it was suppose to have onion rings in it but she left them out but said it was really good!!! Jackfruit BBQ sandwich was good but I could have ate like 5 more hehe def gonna try to recreate it though I always found jackfruit as a meat replacer fascinating 🤔

I loved the acai from this place cause they are not stingy about the granola !! Strawberry “milk” smoothie/shake (or a variation of this) has been my go-to lately because of work and school aka easy peasy way to get in protein for my first meal and takes me like 5 mins to whip up: [ 200g of strawberries, 300g of frozen bananas, 175 soft tofu, 1 tbsp cashews/nut butter, 30g of rolled thick oats, 1 tsp vanilla extract & 1 serving of neutral protein powder (optional) ] 👉🏻{ 700cals/37P/102C/15F} YuSSSssSS use firm tofu if you like it thicker but the soft tofu blends so smooth more smooth than a baby’s bum ok have a GRAT DAY
